It may well be worth checking out the new Tau Book coming out, 'Fire Caste' After all the new Dark Angels units were previewed in Ravenwing.

And...I like the Stormtalon. It reminds me of the old 80s GI Joe toys. I built one...just ditched the wonky turret for something more low profile.

Yeah, who wants to feel like they need to buy a couple of flyers to be competitive. Much better knowing you need to buy a dozen tanks to be competitive!

I could still see it as a harpy. Even if its just a non-canon artists rendition of one. Keep in mind 2 things -- in the codex harpies are described as a trygon-sized monster with wings, and when tervigons finally got a model they ended up being twice as large as most people thought they would be.

Only people in denial. It was a 6 wound monstrous creature - of course it was going to be on GW's new fangled oval base. Something the size of a Carnifex (which most people based their model on) looks strangely tiny on that. The people that rightly based it on the Trygon torso ended up with a much larger model.

Because that would mean they would have to find new things they don't like/understand to whine and complain about. Too much effort.

I actually hope Tau gets a flier, would give me a nice new toy to play with as a holdover until the new codex!

GW wants actual sales, not a few spare coins. All of this stuff would hardly sell compared to new flashy stuff kids would buy.

Salacious...we dont like the sound of a lot of things in 6th. We had already bought rulebooks & codexes for 5th, would rather use our money to expand our armies than buy new rulebooks & in my case a brand new (and expensive) codex.

Yotsuba...nothing to complain about in 5th yet, as we havent played a game yet. I havent played 40k since around 1999-2000, so 3rd edition (I think).

Well, Im not thrilled at the fact that Im facing GK, and that Ill likely get pasted in every game we play, but Ive got a couple ideas on how to make the games at least a mild challenge for him.

Also of note, my wife has a bit of a daemons army, and Ill likely play her at home now & then between our games of Song of Blades & Heroes.
