The main guideline is to make an epic project, preferably involving rivets, and document the process. Knowledge sharing is a key part of being a member of the LoER.

A job at a college, wear glasses they'll make you look smarter , and a catalogue of rivets probably won't help unless they ask if you are good with fine details.

I really enjoyed everything, mate, you are a very talented fellow. I remembered a few bits where I had dropped in before, particularly the first few pages from where I'd tried and failed to take it on before, but most of it was new to me. But I did say 605 pages, actually 608, and that doesn't quite add up...

I took it on in 3 days or let's say 3 courses, like a fine meal. First course, for my starter I decided to go check out RSJakes thread after you told me he did those Nuka Cola bottles, I'll head over and drop him a reply soon too. I loved it and it got me suitably syched to take on the beast that is your Necromunda blog.

The main course certainly kept up the quality and entertainment of the starter but with lots of different components and divergences to keep things fresh. Sadly quite a few pages had the pictures removed but I could follow it for the mainpart and there tended to be a picture from the Dakka Gallery here and there to keep me going. The highlight for me was surprise, surprise the Necromunda terrain! I love the game system and the look and feel of it, it's everything I want 40k to be on a smaller scale. You did a really astounding job of capturing the style and improving the original designs, I hope you've had lots of time to game on it. Although my own vision of Primus has very little to no brick I did enjoy your foray into that aesthetic. I think one of the reasons I love the Necromunda setting is it reminds me of growing up in the center of Glasgow, it has a similar grungy, industrial feel. Your brick buildings were very reminiscent of my childhood there and I might just consider adding some if I ever get round to doing my own terrain. I couldn't really pick a favourite thing about the blog as what I enjoyed most was your attention to detail and scratchbuilding skill which was apparent throughout. I'd love to get some advice on scratchbuilding from you before I tackle anything myself, I can work with green stuff but plasticard scares the heck out of me!

After all that I decided a little dessert was in order, a mere 61 pages, this very blog! I've been a big fan of the Hobbit since I was a kid, I still vastly prefer it to the rest of Tolkien's work, so I was excited to see your take. I'm very much enjoying your terrain work already, it's going to look astounding. I haven't seen the movie yet, I might wait for the second part, so I've been careful not to read anything too closely. I like how you've already gone on a few little divergences within this blog, it's all been very enjoyable and it was nice to see unfinished projects from before picked up again here.

Well, I'm in for the long run now and looking forward to another 500 pages of brilliant hobby! This isn't nearly enough of a reply after reading all of your blogging but it's late and I must sleep so I'll leave it here. Thanks for that awesome journey!

Wow Thanks Casey! I'm blushing here! The missing pics are the consequence of my unorganized use of photobucket. my main "Library" on PB actually got full, and I was forced to move many pics, breaking links, and driving my decision to just start a new blog with some better organization skills. Funny, GS scares me, but plastic seems easy, perhaps we can help each other! Anyways, I really appreciate any hobby collaboration as always!
