I thought i read soemwhere that the next IA book was going to be Minotaurs vs Necrons (they were talking about this being "the next book" at Games Day 2011). I kind of thought those Canoptek Acanthrites on FW (clicky) were a hint at what was to come in the new book.

I was really looking forward to it and it was going to be the first IA book I actually bought.
It's now been over a year and so far we have been treated to the Horus heresy book and a re-hash of IA1.

Anyone know anything?

It's still coming, and it's IA 12 btw, 11 was Mymeara. They haven't replaced IA with HH, but adding HH to their rotation probably slowed down IA 12 a little. Another reason could be that for whatever reason, their initial plans for IA 12 (some sort of Tzeentch-based thing on a prison world I believe) has now been delayed to IA 13.

Their chirstmas teaser showed it being the next book. So shouldn't be too long. If they end up doing a big titan thing for necrons I might not be able to resist

IA12 has gone through a lot of design stages at this point, but it's supposed to be IG/Mino VS the Necrons. The last thread on this, Kan Mentioned he thought it was supposed to be a 3 book series, like the Badab war. Which would be awesome.

Don't forget that the HH series is only supposed to be three books (as of right now) anyways.

When they announced the HH books they said they would run concurrently with IA books.

I don't know where you heard that, but there's no way it's true. There's only three that are confirmed now, Betrayal being out, and the next two being about Istvaan V and the Drop Site Massacre. They've already said they're making models for all the Primarchs and the Emperor, so if there were only three books, there'd never be models for Russ, Magnus, Guilliman, Dorn, etc. They still have to do Prospero, Calth, maybe Phall, and probably two or three books for the Siege of Terra itself.
