Will Ada be available as standard purchase at some point? I think she's cool and would love to see more female troop choices

There is a dedicated female box of AT troopers coming in Wave 3, ncshooter426, the Black Widows.

She was listed as a KS exclusive, and I think Marks stance on this was that it will remain "exclusive" to special events and such. If you see him at a convention, she might be available there and so on.

I like Mantics stance on this. Exclusives are obtainable through a loyalty program. Buy enough off their stuff, and use the points that you obtain with these purchases to get the exclusives.

Or you can find one of the people that bought a bunch in the KS and see if you can beg one off.
I bought 5 Ada's, and 5 Shadokesh

This is a good opportunity to say again: if nothing else, the Shadokesh should be made available again for the all-Shadokesh Kickstarter - or if not a Kickstarter, bundled with some kind of Battleforce.

....yeah, I just bough a leviathan mortis too.

At what point should I admit I have a problem and seek help? LOL. Good thing I have an all new painting station to break in next week.

I need to get a third heavy weapon squad box sometime. When that happens I can actually start painting my infantry. The only place in Aust who I know stocks them only had two when I got them, and I'm not paying $10+ shipping for one more box...

I am curious about this myself. I have a Kickstarter set with 2 or 3 Adas, a Shadokesh and the Crusader with all the exclusive add-ons that I will likely never get around to using. I have wanted to list them but wasn't sure what a fair price would be.

seek help when you start thinking GW prices are reasonable. Then plop down the money you were going to spend on the GW model on a leviathan and a therapist, you'll be able to afford both.

I see what you did there! You're insinuating that the second (free) leviathan you could pick up instead of getting a Knight would be therapeutic. We shall name him, the Therapwnist.

Hehehe, there are always methods available to rationalize purchases

My eisenkern and mortis will be here Wed. The Crusader and other bits are awaiting the next shipment to DFG i'm guessing - so maybe a few weeks out. At least I'll have something to do until the 2nd one shows up! If

I do have one question. I hear a lot of talk about the posability of the leviathans, but they always seam to be built in the most boring just standing there pose? Why?

I originally tried more "dynamic" poses with mine, but decided that not only did it come across as cheesy, the more dynamic the pose the more it ruined the illusion of scale. This is just my personal perspective, but it is the reason I went with a more static/lumbering pose.

Where the poseability of the levis really shines when you do things like the box art for the Mortis, where it's smashing a weaker walker under it's feet, and the like. Don't think "running, jumping, fast action" type poses, think interaction with the environment.

I think I will. I was kinda sad today when I turned down the imperial knight. It just didn't do it for me - but hey, more $ for other stuff.

Man, I wish that small walker was out already, I'd replicate that pose for my Mortis in a heartbeat..... Hmmm I may just have to find a suitable small walker and do it anyways! With magnets of course.. so's I can remove the monstrous base for transport.

Id suggest using the new GW knight....nothing says hardcore gamer like a $140 base for your model!

Check out http://www.mechafront.com/catalog.html for smaller walkers suitable for crushing. Not what Paulson Games wants to be selling them for I'm sure, but hey.

I like the way you think! There was one floating around of a leviathan stomping a GW Dread iirc.

Well, mine was crushing a sentinel, but an AOBR dread might fit great under the foot without having the levi be too off-balance.

If you would like a small walker that looks like it would fit into the Iron Core universe, and looks similar to the walker on that box art, I would suggest looking on ebay for an OOP Starship Troopers Chickenhawk walker. There is one on there currently for $10 with free shipping.

So Mark just saw this posting on the facebook page thing, what's the story behind the "United World Rangers"?

Are they our obligatory "'MURKA" faction?

Obviously they would be way off as the Russian guys and the Shadokesh are next, just curious what kind of story the UWR have, if any, at the moment.

Given the fact that he was using UAMC Marines for them, it sounds like they would be more lightly armored and mobile than the Eisenkarn guys.

Nope, not my faction. That would be a player creation.

Any resemblance of this post to written English is purely coincidental.

Hmm, that smaller walker looks awesome.

Can we see more of her? You know, uncrushed?

Are kriegsmarines going to get cast also, or were they replaced by stormtroopers? I like their packs

MrMoustaffa: You must be talking about the post from Robey about playtesting. Those were just his "gotta have an opforce" for testing some small rules bits. There are no UWR, as Mark posted above, at least not as of this moment

ncshooter: I believe Mark has posted that he wouldn't mind doing Kriegsmarine later, but needs to get the ball rolling on the IC rules, and at least the Shadokesh line implementation (either as a straight release or as another Kickstarer-maybe along with the rules set).

I thought of another idea for the crushed walker under a Mortis.. 28mm Gear Krieg line.
