We've been working on a more modular dungeon based on the same pattern as the Dwarf Hall.

In order to make it as modular and customizable as possible, we've put up a Dungeon Creator page where you can pick the types of walls, floors and accessories you want. Check it out here.

Walls

Floors

And these wall skins will come in many textures to add a different flavor to each room

Also, we now have bases for each texture in various gaming sizes.

And this

PS: We are still trying to fix a scaling/measuring issue with the fortress walls. Hopefully we'll have them out soon.

They look good. Basic, generic, very serviceable. My only little comment would have to be: please be more descriptive in your webstore. I have no idea what I get for 12.95$, even with a group picture, the size is hard to gauge.

Thanks for pointing that out. We're a bunch of misanthropic hermits here and forget that most people communicate with means other than grunts and gestures.

Very good. Although judging from the level of quality, I guess you can't be *complete* troglodytes.

We updated the Dungeon Creator a bit. Does this help?

Much, much better. Now we can go crazy calculating how much stuff we could want/need and go from there.

Hello all,

I just wanted to update you on what we have been working on for the last month or so.

First of all, we have made some progress on the Dark Elf walls. It was a tough decision but we decided to scrap my idea of making the gate look like a screaming high elf face. There was just no way we could pull it off without making it look goofy. In fact, Terry won't let us post pictures online. I believe the consensus was a muttered "More like Santa's elves..."

So we went with skulls instead!

Please let us know what you think. We are thinking of keeping the outer wall smooth with runes or evil symbols on the inner wall or under the points. But if you think the stone texture works for elfy buildings, please let us know. We will also try to develop a "good" elf version and maybe even some more options for the gate than just "skull face" if there is demand. What do you think?

We also are about to release our goblin siege tower. (I am painting one up for Goblin Aid to auction off. I'm taking my time to hide my lack of skill.)

Oh and one last thing: There has been an unusual sighting in the lab. The video is blurry. What do you think it could be?

I just want to point out that the skull design in the gate is etched in at various depths to make it a relief.

Yes, this technique can be used to make eldritch murals of long-forgotten elder things best left buried.

Looks like a Retro Thunder Hawk, really cool looking, keep up the good work....just make sure to look out for the all seeing eye of a certain company.

Games Workshop: Ruining Chaos Space Marines since 2007

First they raised prices on the Eldar, and I did not speak out because I did not play Eldar.

Then, they raised prices on the Orks, and I did not speak out because I did not play Orks.

Then, they raised prices on the Nids, and I did not speak out because I did not play Nids.

Then, they raised prices on the Marines, and there was nobody to speak out for me.

Yeah I'd rename your Dark elf range mischievious pixie to cover yourselves. It won't be long before GW try to claim they invented dwarves as well, or travelled back in time and gave Tolkien the entire idea of The Lord of the Rings subliminally in his sleep.

If there was an option to make it all shiny aluminium, I'd be all over it in a flash!

Honestly, even if it's not "chock-full of details" I prefer it to the Thunder Hawk.

I love the drop ship. The rear stabilizer looks teeny tho.

Mayhaps instead of one vertical, two at an angle? Many of the next gen space plane concept have them. Despite being flat panels it manages to not be overly boxey, I think the straight upright just doesn't fully mesh.

The dropship itself is laser cut MDF. It's durable and sturdy, but also heavier than resin. Some of the detailed pieces will be resin, like the canopy and the exhaust nozzles and parts of the guns. The gun barrels themselves will be either aluminum or styrene rod to prevent warping or snapping. The weapons screw on to be interchangeable, but you can glue them too. This is still a prototype, so there might be some tweaks based on feedback or any issues that come up.

Also, we are working on a technique that allows customers to personalize their dropships by having us engrave their armies' symbosl onto the ships. (See the Angry Badger logo? That could be your logo.) This would probably be a slight additional charge over a the cost of a "vanilla" dropship, to cover burn time for the logo.

We are really trying to find a decent price for this model, but unfortunately shipping will be quite a bear because it is heavy and long. We will probably just include most of the shipping in the list price to prevent nasty surprises during checkout.

@HisDivineShadow Thank you for the suggestions. We really appreciate your feedback, and not just because I was advocating two tails myself. (I was going for more of a B25 or Seaduck tail.) At this stage, the details might be too fixed to split the tail altogether, but we might be able to change it somewhat to make it more interesting. We keep going over the design and improving it, but soon we'll have to walk away and call it finished. However, if we make any fighters or gunships, twin tails would be ace...

I apologize. I cut directly to the last post after seeing the thread title without reading the prior pages, which certainly makes me look like a dumbass in hindsight.

If you can get the price point right, I think the dropship would be a license to print money.

But that extra burn time for a logo is sweet as hell.

Now I have to go find a worthwhile logo...

Probably.

That's why we want to "hide" the shipping cost in the price of the dropship. We want to have the shipping charge be about the same as it would be for the barricade kits, which is around $25 or 16-18 pounds(?) to the UK. How is that?

@HisDivineShadow, after discussing it, we will try a two-tailed version similar to your suggestion. If we can make it work, we'll put up pics (might be a week or two) and maybe even have two versions of the dropship for sale depending on feedback.

I'll definitely keep an eye out. I can't guarantee I'll purchase one at launch, but this is on my to buy list.

Whether she comes with a split tail or I have to convert it myself!

Keep up the great work

Here it is with the wings swept forward and with two tails. Please let us know what you think.

The wings are not meant to be glued in, to help transporting the dropship, which is why they are reversible.
