I sent AB an email yesterday asking the same question and they sent me back a nice note last night saying they were shipping in the order placed. Mine was placed right at the end of preorders and they said it was looking to go out the door Saturday.

Hello everyone,

We just wanted to let you know what is going on with the Hellbadger orders. We have been shipping out orders in batches since the 8th. We should have all orders shipped by the middle of next week. There are a few reasons why shipping seems to be taking so long:

1) We did not have enough Hellbadgers ready to go by the 8th because we just didn't anticipate so many orders. We do appreciate the custom, though!

2) Hellbadgers take about 4 hours to burn, not including time for etching in army logos. So, it is taking a while to get all of the remaining pre orders burned. Orders containing multiple dropships eat up a lot of time.

3) The shipping method we are using might take 6-10 days for domestic orders and longer for international orders. Still, I'm a bit surprised no one has received a box yet.

4) We are using a third party shipping program. The program is supposed to email a tracking number (or customs number for international orders) to each customer, but we have reason to believe this hasn't happened. Please let us know if you have received a tracking or customs number.

Tomorrow, Terry will send out an email to each customer describing the condition of the customer's order and providing any tracking number or custom number, or the expected ship-out date if the order has not shipped yet.

Thank you for being patient.

The Angriest Badger

Awesome, I can't wait until mine arrives so I can open the package, take a quick peek, and then put it away to sit unpainted for years.

I'll at least assemble it before it languishes unpainted.

You know, and this is the weird part - for the what bogs me down is painting the interiors. I don't have a rational explanation for this, but i always get mentally stuck on the idea of getting all the insides painted. If this doesn't have a lot of interior detail; and I suspect it probably won't, I might be able to get it done pretty fast. I don't plan to do any heavy converting on it, maybe add some minor lighting but that's it.

When I was painting Chimeras and Russ's for my nephew, I could literally bang one of those out from box to assembled, magnetized, painted, and dullcote'd in about a day and a half.

My favorite part of the video so far is the cameraman whispering directions to to the presenter.

Man I am excited about this kit - thanks for doing this video, I wish more companies would do assembly videos.

Also, wow, it's big*.

Got one built. Love it. Very clever construction. Gonna VDR a Shadowhawk from the IF Redemption novel. I think I'm gonna try and switch the front and back on the other, put a battlecannon on the turret, to make it more Thunderhawky. I'm traveling for awhile, so it might be a week or to, but I'll post pics.

Here is a work in progress picture of the Cthulhu Gate we are making for the Evil Elf Fortifications. It will be cast in resin as etched MDF just isn't imposing enough. Please let us know what you think. We will be adding more details and textures, as well as some spiny fin-things. We just want to find out now if we're going in the wrong direction before adding all the little details.

As a quick aside, the build quality on the Hellbadger is terrific. It's a joy to fit together. I haven't finished mine yet; but it's a very nice kit and not having to remove stuff from sprues is an unexpected perk.

The Siege Tower is now up for sale.

In the dawn of our world, before the rectification of the Vuldronaii, the Beast came to our land with his siege towers and brought an end to the age of the great Walled City States. He slew king Jalad in open battle and claimed the City of Tanagra. He broke Temba wide open and put her citizens to the knife, and again at Shaka when the walls fell. He cleared the cedar forests from the mountains and filled the plain with siege towers to overwhelm Uzani, Zinda and Sokath. Devoid of worship, the old gods reposed in the Land of Dust. Although history has forgotten his name, the legacy of the Beast has forever reshaped our world.

“Siege towers work well for putting your troops inside the enemy’s walls. Much better than catapults.” –Trenor, orc overlord

“The army of Light thinks they can hide behind their ivory walls? Well, they’ve got another thing coming. They can hide but they can’t run!” –Gibzzit, goblin carpenter

“Siege towers are bloody awful. Death traps for the men inside them. Wellsprings of horror for the defenders. Their very existence makes a travesty of civilized conflict. They are, of course, an invaluable asset in our army.” –Gandric the Bold, Grand Knight of the Order of Mercy

This siege tower is designed for use with 28mm tabletop wargames and roleplaying games. It is not compatible with Monopoly.

In slightly related news, work on the Cthulhu Gate continues.

A couple of updates:

The Cthulhu Gate is getting a slight resculpt in order to avoid a technical issue known as "oops, let's try that again."

We will release the Evil Elf fortress walls soon, although the Cthulhu gate may end up as a separate item that just happens to complement the wall.

We are looking for a volunteer in Orange County, CA, who has some 10mm scale models and/or some 15mm mecha that we can borrow to measure, photograph and conduct cruel experiments. Please send me a PM if you would like to know more.

Some of our items have found their way to Brookhurst Hobbies.

And just for fun, here are some photos of the completed Hellbadger from the instruction video:

The Hellbadger is about 19.75 inches long (or just over 20 depending on how you glue in the gun barrels in the nose), 14.5 inches wide in the wing span, and 5 inches tall from the bottom of the fuselage to the top of the turret (but not including the landing gear).

Good for you on getting some retail representation!!!

That pre-heresy KSons Hell Badger is really sweet.

I just finished converting some 10mm/15mm mecha, you can use a GW Sentinel as a stand-in, they are pretty acceptable. For a light mecha, anyway.

Unless you're looking for a leviathan crusader, then the upcoming release of the Dreamforge 15mm mini-levi might be right up your alley. Early September, rumour goes.

Hello everybody!

We are still making progress on the evil elf towers. However, we wanted some feedback on expanding into a new scale: 15mm.

15MM Barricade Set

Servograd, 2943. The flames of war burn all along the mecha front. The Axis of Space Teutons advance on the very heart of the Camradeship of Communist Cosmosoviet Planets. The Chairman of Steel, Brosef Jorelovich, commands General Turbolev to hold the city long enough to ship the last of the war factories to Cyberia. With only a hydraulic press and a cultural tradition of tile-compacting logic puzzles, GeneralTurbolev invents the Trubolev Tu-16 Barricade to stem the Deutschwelter tide. Quickly pressed from tank hulks, scrap iron, old tin cans, peasants, and unexploded munitions, Turbolev only manages to fabricate 22 thousand kilometers of Barricade. Later known as the "Stierlitz Wall", the barricade miraculously holds off the enemy for eight days and eight nights until the onset of Galactic Winter, winning the Great Jingoistic War for the Cosmosoviets and saving the Motherworld.

Now, thanks to the decline and fall of Stellar Communism, you can own a piece of history! Order your stretch of TU-16 Barricade today! Act now! Only 22 million segments left in stock!

"We have misunderestimated the Rustian Colossus. Whenever we destroy a dozen kilometers of Tu-16 Barricade, the Rustians replace them with another dozen." --Duhastmajor Rammstein, "The Desert Foxtrot"

"Jaegerstandartenführer Stierlitz, tear down this wall!" --Robo-ruppenführer Müller, preceding the Battle of the Punchline

"The enemy is at the Barricade! It is a question of life and post-human mind-upload." --Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Cocktail, Machinister of Violent Affairs

The 15mm barricade set comes with (20) 2 inch modular walls, 1 entrance wall, 20 straight walkways, 4 corner pieces, 4 guard towers, 2 staircases, and one tank gate.

Assembly and painting is required

I really like the 15mm Terrain TU-16 Barricade.

what would the pricing be for them?

I just realized that the link to the site didn't work. It should work now, hopefully.

The 15mm Barricade is $39,95 plus shipping for everything in the pictures and product description. Here is a link.

...So, we are thinking of trying to adjust our prices so that we can give free shipping on most of our products. This would help reduce the sticker shock on shipping and seemed popular with the Hellbadger. What do all of you think?
