Yeah. I like them. I'm not liking them that much, though...

Good point, It just looks like a top part that fits on the old plastic bike kit.

At least you have a great inspiration and example if you are good enough to sculpte/convert your own bikes.

Being years that i tried other models for CSM bikes, because regular bikes are too plain.

Started making conversions with DE reaver bikes, and i love it, but those bikes are really nice, better looking then the regular bikes, but the price might put a cold on people...

Price is in keeping with their other products so it shouldn't be a surprise. You get one full resin marine and two large resin conversion pieces along with I assume a full plastic scout bike kit.
That makes them better value than some of the sets like the MKIV Command set and the Apothecary set as you get the same amount of resin and a plastic kit thrown in.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I really like these bikes, but I really like the new Ravenwing bikes too and they're half the price and you get more stuff with them. Plus they have tl-plasma guns and the armour is good enough to use as heresy era.
Ravenwing command would be a good secondary source for those on a budget. Just depends how anal(ytical) you want to be about when mk6 came into use.

Uh, bikes look good, however, why does older tech look more advanced then newer bikes? Also, weren't preheresy/post heresy bikes actually jet bikes? When did the wheeled bikes show up in the 40k timeline?

FYI - Space Marine Bikes first made an appearance in the late 1980s with the 1st edition of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, where they are referred to as the "Vincent Black Shadow".

40k tech is going backwards. Crusade/Heresy-era tech is almost always better than what they have ten thousand years later. They also did make extensive use of normal bikes. Jetbikes were still a lot more expensive and difficult to build, as opposed to the 41st Millenium, where they can't make them at all.

I just hope tio high heavens they release the bikes as singles. I absolutely but I only ever want one of those. For a Kor'sarro Khan conversion.

I love the fact they have taken the player base into consideration. The TL plasmaguns are great for the DA players to make MK VI Black Knights.

I love the bikes, and would love to add them to my Red Scorpions army, but that would run me $270 to make a full bike squad.

They may have been listed at the wrong price, otherwise its an odd occurance to actually reduce prices (or atleast not celebrate said reduction)

Indeed that is news worthy, seems more in keeping with the fact that the majority of the kit is a plastic set.

Clever move by FW now the bikes seem pretty cheap, just wondering though what happens to people who bought it when it was £60?

Damn. Now I actually have to consider getting these. I wonder if they'll make an attack bike to go with them (Attack bikes always look goofy, I hope they could do something to rectify that.)
