Yeah, gargantuans is coming out and at least one more Warmachine book. Possibly two is COC is it's own seperate forces book.
Alot of pics have been put out by PP in the last couple months so I am expecting alot of releases soon.

Not to mention Reclaimer/Sanctifier. You can still allocate to marshaled 'Jacks so you could easily have a full load plus the martial bonus. I realize this boils down to basically just another attack or boost. However the vassal clocks in at 2pts and Ancillary attack is great even just for a melee attack (I realize this kind of the bottom of the barrel of what it can do). Still it's even more output, 6 potential main weapon attacks is that much better than 5.
So long as he brings something valuable to the table himself it could be a very welcome addition.

And the final tidbit,

This is speculated as being one of two things,
Flank[marshalled friendly faction warjack]
Or, the Marshalled Warjack counts as a Bastion for the purposes of Sanguine Bond. So you can use Sanguine Bond to dump damage onto the Warjack.
So for the low low cost of two light jacks you give the Bastions an extra 52 damage boxes. Over doubling their damage boxes, while also having a couple light jacks to support them.

You can allocate using a Reclamer or some other ability that allocates/gives focus. Your Warcaster can't allocate to marshalled jacks but thats the only restriction AFAIK.

Flank replacing weapon master would help make this solo with such a potent ability in menoth as jack marshal a little more reasonable. As it stands a bastion seneschal with a marshaled reckoner can stand next to a unit like temple flameguard and a reclaimer solo to make his jack very scarey and still provide whatever benefits he has to the bastions on his other side. There is also a precedent for this set with the dawnguard scyr. I'll have to assume a jack marshal solo in a faction with reclaimers, choir, and reckoners will be better than any jack marshal in ret.
If he allows his marshaled jacks to be included in sanguine bond I fear the game will break down. Bastions are already stubborn objective campers in scenario. Adding in two heavy jacks' (jacks that are still mostly functional as shown above) worth of health to the unit makes them positively rooted.
Tough bastions are actually an interesting proposition since the menoth player would have the option to have one model absorb the full hit with 1/3 chance of survival or take the full damage spread throughout the unit but guarantee the survival of the targeted model. I hate tough, but I like adding those kinds of tactical choices.

He will be at least 3 points with likely no Drive. It is being heavily suspected that the Sanguine Bond ability is genuine. If true I would hope he's a 4 point solo.

Warcasters can only allocate to their battle group. The Sanctifier can still allocate to itself and the Reclaimers are cheat-y faces who can allocate to whatever. Just FYI Strangeways and the Arcanist don't allocate they use power booster, which just gives focus points. It's a minor distinction most of the time but there are a few edge cases that will interact with that.

No.. not really.
CoC will be like Ret for numbers when they came out. But they will have 5 casters and multiple units.
Now lets look at Minions...
Its a completly devided factons..
Pigs with what 3 casters ?
Gators with 3 ?
Maybe 4...
Along with the dont even cross use units that much.
So a Pig Garg comes out.. oh joy.. a whole 3 casters can use it and have what ? generally 4 ish units available ?
Now compare that to Mercenaries..
11x Casters total 8 of them can use Galleon.
Rhulic is getting a Collosal this year.. but rhulic as highborne for example.. has 19-20 units to choose from... etc etc...
tldr Minions hardly have any units or solo's that each caster can use and its a to limited market to give them a big guy this early without giving them more units to catch up one day.

Doesn't this become a a self defeating cycle then if the number of units per book for each compact is less than the number for each main faction? Domination gave roughly 6 new entries to each faction but 4 to each contract. Not only does this kind of an approach mean that getting to say a viable number of units to warrant adding a Gargantuan take longer than nessecary it aslo assures they will continue be a limited market .
Don't get me wrong I'm new to the game and don't have any strong attachment to any faction and really quite like the look of the CoC stuff and will probably grab a bunch so it's not that I'm strictly opposed to their introduction so much as the whole situation strikes me as counter intuitive.

No because the CoC are going to be a full blown faction.
Mercs got a Colossal because they are large enough to warrent one.
Minions may eventually get one if and when they are expanded enough.

Clearly the answer is to make a Gargant that will play with Pigs or Gators;
Joking aside, I agree with Spyder---they need to flesh out the Minions more (and give them access to more animus/solos). Pigs in particular need some attention--at least Gators have a good solo and some interesting animus effects.
