Nice ghulams! Haven't seen those before. I say they hold up pretty well and should fit in easily with the new stuff. I quite like the middle guy.

Edit: Uhoh new page
Umm well here's my icestorm mobile brigada. That's all I got.

As I said in the 'What hobby stuff are you doing today' thread, they're old old. They're first edition Ghulam. And yeah, the guy in the middle is pretty awesome, he's usually my go to Lieutenant if I'm playing the Lt shell game with Ghulams.

Mobile brigada is looking badass.

Nice work Loki, very good and subtle greens!

Just finished up my first Icestorm mini, the at-ease Fusilier:

A couple more angles in my blog (link in my sig).

That's awesome. The red hat and not-blue armor make him look waa'aay more serious than a regular fusileer.

Quality work, Paradigm!

I'm looking at a more muted colour scheme for my boys, so thanks for sharing and for the confirmation that they could look BAD ASSED.

EDIT: That Brigada chap looks sweet, ckig. Crisp. Nicers!

If I ever went down the pan on route I would have went for red berets too. Thanks for confirming they look good. Great painting fella.

Thanks guys! To be honest, as soon as I saw the beret I knew it would be red, I don't quite know why. I suppose it works as a spot colour and you can see it's clearly not armour, so there's that.

Now working on the Spektr, and I may have slighly borrowed the cloaking effect that Grimdork used on his Shasvestii...

One of my closest friends is a Sgt in the Royal Marines so if I don't go with green berets, I may have my windpipe booted in.

I as well was thinking dark red for the berets. Thanks for the conformation of concept, Para!

Oooh I look forward to your stealth effect Para, I've got a few models I'll need to re-steal your idea for, not 100% happy how mine turned out.

Love that, you've got a nice balance of fresh and gritty going on there.

And that Spektr is a wee stunner! Really nice job on the camo effect.

Yeah I may definitely have to steal your "blue scale" to replace the "grey scale" I used for my malignos.

I did consider a greyscale/black and white camo effect, but realised pretty fast that, although it would have a high contrast, the blue would work a lot better with the red. Steal away, I'd be interested to see you try out the blue.

Blue seems like a good color for blending/other things too, so I'll probably try that out moving forward.

Bloody fine work Paradigm.

Love the idea with the red beret, works very well with the rest of the colour scheme.

That looks fantastic as well, love the fabric-style effect you have made on the cloak - think that works perfectly! Looks like you have achieved a really smooth finish on the white/grey of the main armour also.

A quick update on my blog with some more KTS troopers, and the psuedo-background I'm writing for them at the same time

Paradigm, I'm going to officially ask you to stop posting pictures of your finished minis. They're making me insanely jealous and I now feel bad for myself as a painter.

Seriously though, nice job.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

Thanks chaps. Good to see I'm not totally hopeless with these minis!

@Pacific: Those Kaplan are looking great, some of the best minis in the range and you've done them justice!

@MWHistorian: I'm afraid there's plenty more where these came from!
