Now that's funny. Anyways, some seem to be aggravated by 3 scatter laser war walkers, but I can understand why that time

I tend to field a lot of kevtching about dreadknights; my opponents will typically focus their entire war-effort against any of them that i field. Suits me fine really, gives my other stuff room to move around in.

Other than that though, dreadnoughts with psybolts and twin-linked auto-cannons get the occasional snide comment or two, but don't seem to draw nearly as much aggro.

People frown about my helldrake. They also bitch when I place terrain in front of their fortification.

Things I hate, are whatever it is on necrons that has the strength 10 ap 1 large blast tempate with super long range. It's like a vindicator with more than twice as much range and better AP, feth that thing. feth mindshackle scarabs. feth wraiths. Necrons are Oh Pee

Thats the Doomsday Ark. Its less of a threat if it moves. Plus once you score a penetrating hit, its an AV11 open top vehicles, so its easy to finish off with a couple of solid lascannon shots. Its also still AV 11 at the rear, even before you take away its shields, just FYI.

This. As a Cron player I love my Barge but this one game where a swapped armies with my opponent I saw how terrifying the Tesla Destructor is.
It seems atm anything Necron gets complaints by most players. People are too used to a SM variant being top dog.

Personally I don't care for the StormRaven, a Av12 flying Box that wont DIE!

An av12 flying box that gets distracted by "ooh! Flying Daemon Prince, must kill!", gets pulled around the field, fails to do anything while the DP gets into a ton of assaults, and then turns out to be a huge point sink

I don't bring cheesy stuff, so no, I don't get complaints.

Regardless of how strong my lists are, I always leave at least a few outs for my opponents to do stuff, and I never do anything that might net me a win because my opponents don't understand the special rules that a unit has. On those rare occasions that I do use something unusual, I always explain to my opponent what it is and what it does.

Winning through secrecy is super lame, and building lists that exist to prevent your opponent from doing anything is TFG behavior. Avoid doing those kinds of things, and you won't get people complaining at you.

Also, playing with older, more experienced players also helps a lot. Perhaps the problem with your friends complaining about what you're bringing is your friends, not what you're bringing.

Then you would hate to meet my trio of Trygons then Granted I never use the Doom, anything that comes down in any form of orbital deployment has never gone well with me or my dice.

I get a lot of grief when I field six MC + Hive Tyrant and his trio of Tyrant guard, most likely due to my opponents mostly being green tide Ork players and foot guard.

Oh, i almost forgot my cheesiest unit i've ever played and am experimenting with at the moment. The Halie-star. Ripped through an entire grey knight flank with them while keeping my 2++ re-rollable towards gun fire and then making the ultamate cheese vs his terminators in CC

Doom says re-roll to wound, it doesnt specify if it has to be un successful rolls. So when rolling for rends i just re rolled everything that wasnt a rend, 5's,4' included to get me a LOT more rends. I got some evils for that!

I find it's D-weapons in general

On Wraithguard
What do you mean it hurts on a 2+? that's so OP! lol (12" range. so just ignore them and go somewhere else. Squad is 400pts)
On D-cannons
2+? what? it hurts vehicles on a 3+? That's op too (24" range no move and fire, so again, just avoid them (only 150 points = bargain lol)

I got my wraithguard invisibility, fortune and fnp on a 4+ in one game. That was called OP. Mind you, I'd spent almost 900 points on making one super unit. Which wasn't in range till turn 4...

Pretty much this. Playing against sisters of battle. saint celestine and a squad of seraphim are working their way towards me. she breaks from the squad and moves to engage a seperate squad of immortals while the seraphim hit my warrior + res orb lord blob. She charges the tesla immortals and i get 4 's on the overwatch, 11 of those hits wound. she fails enough saves to die. It was quite glorious. He got me back though. Later in the game he killed imhotek on an overwatch shot from a vindicare assassin.

My gaming group complains about my Sisters of Battle.

Armywide 6++? OP. Exorcist? Clearly not working as intended. Seraphim gunslingers? Broken. Acts of Faith? Cheatpoints. Celestine? There's practically a riot if I take her out of my multicase.

Even if they crush me, they spend the entire game wailing about how unfair my "WD fandex' army is. And this is all coming from a group that doesn't bat an eyelash if I pull out my 3x Vendetta guard list. I don't get it.

One of my most frustrating games of 40k was in the first round of an RTT in new game store, about 3 hours from where I live. I draw a nice guy who had only good arm, the other couldn't really do anything. Of course, he's playing horde orks. Using all AOBR sluggas, counting them as shootas. And he refused to simply add the run on to the movement. So I got to watch him use one hand to deploy, and move, and run, well over a hundred ork boys. Then, I'm surprised to find them all shoot at me on turn 2. He had told me they were shootas, but I forgot.

It's not like he was malicious or anything, but it was excruciatingly annoying.

Loyalist Marine players I find tend be whiny, or at least, most of the local ones are.

Outside of my buddies, pretty much every local Marine player would declare that my Flamers were the most god-awful, OTT, broken unit in 40k.
Then the WD update hit, and now all these same Marine players have started adding Strikes and/or Interceptors to their lists when they see me or the couple of CSM players who've added in a few Daemon allies. (and the one CSM player has a themed Deathguard army, thus he doesn't even own any Flamers/Screamers!)

Emperor forbid that we should be able to actually kill a loyalist marine.

Havingn not really played many games outside of my friends, I don't really hear complaints (I usually get crushed anyways, and when I do win, my army is full of things that make people laugh ), but I'm going to be embarking on a planetary crusade with the Death Guard, and I'm going to be facing a horde of orkz. Lots of boyz in wagonz.
I have the feeling that my plague spam tarpit is about to cause a lot of frustration (suddenly it's a higher dice roll to wound, only 1/3 will die from an average attack, and 1/3 of THOSE won't even notice they're supposed to be dead ).
I say this because I'm counting on the enemy vehicles getting in close, and will be spamming plague marines (with melta bombs + krack grenades for my only tankbusting), and them spamming on the anti-horde power.

I love playing counter-waaagh, it's my strongest forte.
