So I saw an APC from the movie aliens but now I don't know who made it. Does anyone know? Sorry if this the wrong place to post this. Thanks!

Halcyon Models made a kit for the APC, the dropship and various other items out of Aliens.

Sadly they all went out of production years ago. You might be able to pick up something on eBay, or hopefully someone might buy the rights and-release some of them.

Would you believe that Aliens is more than 20 years old?

Take your pick.

Halcyon keeps popping up, but BamBam is another company out there, as well.

I've seen one out there kinda like it, but it was made of balsawood and some other stuff.

Other possibilities include:

Either of those might be adapted into something similar to the Aliens vehicle.

Yes, after finding it, I'm going to get me one or two in the next month or so. Loves me some Aliens.

I already have 3 Predator kinda guys, might as well dig around for some Marines, next.

We really need another movie for these guys, though. The Game was ok, but I'd like something more then I saw with that Prometheus one. I fealt a little teased from that one, and want some real Aliens/ Predator stuff.

I can vouch for the BamBam kit, worth every penny and 100% compatible with 28mm figures.

It's almost 30 years old actually. And still one of the best movies EVER.

Which of those scale would work with 28mm/32mm models?

Hasslefree in their Sci Fi humans range (I won't link it as the site is incredibly NSFW). They have a set of 10 dead ringers for colonial marines, 9 with pulse rifles and 1 with a smart gun, mixed male and female. Also a kid wearing a helmet and holding a pulse rifle if you want Newt as an objective.

I'm mostly on the lookout for some good Alien figs.

There was also a Galoob Action Fleet APC released for a short time. Probably closer to 25mm actual scale, but the movie APC was a huge vehicle, so this one would probably work for a realistically scaled 28mm vehicle.

Seems to be going for a pretty penny though. Have one somewhere...

Again, the Khurasan one isn't in 28mm. I'll post pics of the kit sometime this weekend.

I was reading Khurasan Miniatures blog and about 6 months ago they showed off there 28mm version of the apc. I don't know if its out yet because they are on vacation. But I'm hoping they are for sale. Manchu What do you believe is the best quality 28mm version is?

Khurasan WILL be doing the caiman in 28mm, though.

Just because the 15mm one is only available at the moment means squat when Khurasan themselves have stated that they WILL be doing it in 28mm. They have already done the polecat in 28mm as a trial.

Here's the Khurasan 15mm Caiman kit.

I don't know anything about the 28mm models. I'm really pleased with my 15mm Caiman, "Space Demons," and "Exterminators" so I would probably go to Khurasan first if I wanted a 28mm M577.

I really like it, especially now that I realize it's an actual 28mm model. I don't know if I'll buy it simply because I don't know if I'll have a use for it. I've been trying to devise a 15mm-based "board game"-themed skirmish game using the Aliens franchise for a while now and so I've got most of Khurasan's relevant 15mm range. I can tell you, just based on that pic, I'd like to bump the whole thing up to 28mm. That will be contingent on Khurasan also doing 15mm Space Demons, however.

I used to see the Halycon models now and then in comic book shops when I was a teenager, but I was always too broke to buy it. Now and then I see one on ebay, but they are way, way too expensive to justify - I have a hard time rationalizing nearly $200 for a plastic model kit with no other use. So I'm also highly intrigued by some of these alternate models you guys have provided.
