No, but you don't either. They might or might not translate, but even if they don't, it is a problem when an authorised release doesn't present a positive image of your product. The same goes for the fingers clipping into the handlebars on the most recent picture.

@the backstory: Don't use the phrase "almost indescribable" unless you're talking about something literally intended to be beyond rational comprehension (like Lovecraftian horrors or a truly awe inspiring piece of art), because as a writer it's your job to be able to describe it.

No, I do.

Bump maps do not create geometry which means they will not actually print.

We would like to address the question of bump mapping being used on our models by simply saying. Our artists have the ability to work in the six to eight million polygon count. Making the level of detail you see on our models very obtainable without the use of any normal mapping techniques.

Fair enough, your first picture did not appear to have actual geometry for the ribbing on the armor.
