How big exactly is true 32mm? Perhaps in comparison to GW or PP models?

I came across this the other day, it looks pretty good but I would like to see some better shots on the miniatures.

Check out the last kickstarter for a bit more of a sense. It's been said that some of these will be made available. Some I'm totally in love with, and I'm eagerly awaiting their arrival.

This link shows off some of my favourites, the green renders at the top of the page and the bottom, but you might want to go through more updates.

This update gave info about dimensions of figures from the last campaign. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/929519929/damsels-of-darkmyre/posts/370673

They were all listed as 1.25 inches tall, which google says is 31.75 mm.

I will assume the figures for Warriors of Darkmyre are the same since a few were from the previous campaign, most prominently Melissa, the Dark Pool figure #12.

BTW the dimensions on the Z axis of the pics should read 1.49 not 1.25.

That's a lot bigger than GW minis. That Mummy gal might be a good conversion base for Tomb Kings though.

hmm... I've seen shots placed beside objects that make them look like 32mm. I'll ask and get back to you if the creator doesn't answer direct.

Here the models are sitting on a clock that I have. I would find it hard to believe they're almost 40mm.

A message I just received from the creator:

Allison is 1.49 inches tall and the others are 32mm from ground to eye level so they sizes will vary but still be true 32mm. We changed to the actual scale because everyone complained about the size being too tall.

Bit confused. The "arena" level lists what you get in the pledge, but then the graphic says that it's 10 miniatures "of your choice". What's going on there?

Things seem to have stalled a bit on the KS here: for my part, I just received some of the models from the first campaign, and wanted to give people an idea what they looked like.

From Left to Right: very old Space Marine, Allison, Allison (washed with black ink), Mummyria (washed), Caitlynn (washed).

The scale on Mummyria and Caitlynn is pretty close to "28mm" it would seem, Allison either is very tall (she is in some towering heels), or a bit closer to 32mm. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how well the details have transferred from 3d renders into production. Take a look at the really big version in the gallery, there is a lot of details on these!

I also have the 3 male figures from the "Death Pack", I'll put those up once I get the chance to assemble them.

There is an update on the kickstarter page detailing the reasoning behind the cancellation -

Looks like they are taking on comments and suggestions on board and going to relaunch at a later date with an improved campaign.
