Pretty much anyhitng with a metric tonne of mid-strength shots, ANYTHING with Interceptor (might just be my pair, 'The Doomed Duo', that alwyas turn up one at a time, usually either exploding or loosing the Death Ray), Vendettas, and Lucky Plasma Gunners (Yes it happened)

Fliers that can't carry infantry are strategically pointless. They're basically heavy support choices that always arrive late and never score. Given the poor quality firepower conversion on non-skyfire weapons, it's not worth even targetting them, most of the time.

Nonsense. Flyers are like late-arriving heavy support choices with efficient firepower and the mobility to put it where you need it. You might get away with ignoring flyers because you play blob IG and most flyers aren't properly armed for killing infantry hordes, but that is far from a general rule. If you depend on vehicles (especially transports) ignoring Vendettas will cost you the game. If you're playing a MEQ army ignoring Helldrakes means each turn one of your scoring units is removed from the table. If you ever bring your foot IG to a FW-legal event ignoring Vultures means each turn one of your scoring units is removed from the table. Etc.

Now, your argument certainly applies to bad flyers like the Nephilim, but that's because they're worthless easily-ignorable units in general, not because they're flyers.

Uh, sorry, but how are you getting your Vultures to hit on 3s?

Vultures have the Strafing Run USR, which makes them BS 4 against most targets.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Anything Ground Based IIRC, meaning vs anything not a Jump/Jet Unit, a Skimmer, an FMC or Flyer

Jump/jet units too. They're no longer separate unit types, jump/jet is a subtype attached to infantry (or, rarely, another type), and infantry get shot at +1 BS.
