Any know which online vendor ships the quickest?

Tried Giftforgeeks and Wayland they both take ages to arrive

Darksphere have always been awesome for me.

Second vote for Darksphere being lightning quick.

Last time I ordered from Troll Trader, I got the dispatch email first thing the day after the order was placed, and it turned up 2 days after that. Not bad for free shipping (spend over £15)

Yeah, looking at it they sell 2nd hand GW bits. Not checked before, I don't buy any GW personally.

I'll add another vote for Darksphere too,

although that was non-GW stuff

Or for a single kit's most private individuals on Ebay are pretty good (look at their feedback of cource) as they'll have the kit that they want to sell 'in hand',

whereas as store may well regularly ordering in stock and depend on a distributor/GW to deliver on time before they can ship it out to you

I've had things arrive next day in Essex from Nottingham using standard delivery. That's usually FW stuff and not that often to be honest.

If you want discounted stuff quickly then that's a different question.

GW may have other issues, but customer service from them is always great

Then you've never dealt with GW's customer service. I stopped taking the OP seriously when the ubitquitous "20%?" begging started.

And I assumr you don't have an FLGS?

I agree, it's pretty much the only thing they do right. Even those unhappy with GW will admit to that.

Not true. When I have ordered from their site, it is always shipped and delivered quickly. They also crank out one heck of a product. In the light of recent events, the GW online issue is a contentious one, it is also a pretty tired topic, like complaining about the prices and expecting mandatory discounts.

I bought an Arjac Rockfist, which I didn't build for about 18 months. When I opened it, it was failcast - his face was smudged.
GW swapped it there and then when I took it to the shop.

GW customer service is their best asset.

And on topic - +1 for darksphere.

The fastest I have dealt with is Firestorm Games in Cardiff, if its in stock, they tend to ship in within 24hrs, especially if you bump up to 1sr class recorded delivery. The worst I have waited was five days and that was for an order over £130ish of varying items.

They are only 10% off mind, but to me that's worth it for the speed it is sent.

4tk have been all ways been good for me, usually 48hour from ordering the item to it being in my hand. They only ever list on their website what they have in stock, unlike some companies

Wow, that really surprises me. Not saying that you’re lying or anything but that’s not the experience that 99.9% of people have when they need to deal with GW customer service, you must have got them on a bad day – and I can understand how that would change your opinion on them.

Anyway, on topic – I’m sure you’ll be impressed with Darksphere.

I will admit they seem alot better with finecast now from peoples comments.

When it first came out they were not so ready to admit to mistakes shall we say.

Anyone else ordered from that 4TK site? Unlike Darksphere they actually have what I'm after in stock, but I've never heard of them before today.

Assuming from my recommendation, so me saying I use them a lot wont matter much!, I do go down there a lot as well as its 30 mins drive from me. There are a few dakka members that go there as well, Mark Kelly being one of them (usually found in the bat rep section) and a few others whose names on here escape me,

I have to give a +1 to firestorm games, good communication and fast delivery.

Well I've just put through an order with 4TK, I'll report back on what happens, but they get +1 point already purely because their postage costs are actually the cost to post things via Royal Mail, rather than just some random invented number.
