Hi. This is my last diorama. It's an epic battle from the Horus Heresy : Blood Angel vs Slaanesh.
After a facebook teaser which went badly I have censored the demon Raptorem on purpose. I didn't expect that some details would shock people, knowing that the diorama is about Slaanesh.

Looked through the extra photos, it's a really cool diorama (as we've come to expect).

I think sometimes you've gone a little bit too far in pursuit of dynamism so poses can look a touch awkward (guy leaping with the axe)..

The painting, though, is flawless and when those poses come off, they really work; thinking of the dual power fist guy in particular.

The head crests make them look a bit Grecian for Blood Angels imo, but that's a personal taste thing.

This diorama makes me want to build a Blood Angel army and a Slaanesh daemons if only to play with myself (bad pun intended)

Is there a chance to see an uncensored image somewhere? Not knowing whether you sculpted the thing or converted an actual bit is killing me atm

He looks great! The detailing on his book is particularly good, and the boldness of the colours really stands out. I really like how you've chosen to use clear bases for your WHQ models, and I will definitely be stealing that idea when I eventually pick silver tower up in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to get started on it, and whenever I look at this thread it just makes me envious of you haha.

When people asks for the censoring of anatomical details, but find totally acceptable a diorama depicting the carnage a feral warrior inflicts on lesser foes, replete with flowing blood, decapitations and maiming, I think there is something horribly wrong with that nation...

It's true.

That is a message from the member of the team who denounced me.

It wasn't a case of being prudes. I'm one of the admin team on the 'Eavier Metal group who did remove the post which was the close up image of the drooling faced penis but none of the other images to place it in context. Due to that it was deemed that it would only invite reports to the admin team and possibly Facebook which is the reason behind its removal.
I'm also a 40k Slaanesh painter but I'm one who believes that Slaanesh is more than just sexual images and more about constantly moving boundaries feeding obsessive behaviour. It actual results in a Slaanesh that is way darker than GW ever delved into (well, maybe a part in the Fulgrim book involving the artist).

I ask him to show me his slaanesh figures. It was very prudish and not in the spirit of the 80 90 eavy metal painting.

I don't think i m crazy , i just tried to make something that puts uncomfortable. I wanted to show the rage of the Blood Angels and morbid madness of Slaanesh deamon .
