They are about 15 bucks if memory serves me right, and incredibly useful once you get the hang of it. You can get tutorials on YouTube.

Some slow progress tonight, just about used my own body weight in green stuff so far....

Hi mate, thanks for looking in ! The front ( ribs) is from the Demon Prince kit and the back and lower legs are from the Dark Vengence Hellbrute.

I wasn't too happy with the size of the head , so added some larger horns, a bit of hair and plan on adding big green stuff jowls hanging under the helmet .

So Dakkanauts , thoughts now, is the posing about right ? An improvement ? Mostly just blue tac at the moment so I can change for the better quite easily !

Very menacing pose there! He looks ready to tear things apart!

Good job incorporating all the various bits and the putty additions.

Pose seems fine.
Two ways to check any model's pose:
1. Put yourself in the position of the model. Is it a "comfortable" pose, do you naturally place arms, legs, feet, etc. in slightly different positions?

2. Can the model stand up by itself? Not always reliable as a hollow body and solid putty arm, for instance, will unbalance an otherwise balanced pose. But if it can, there can't be much of a complaint.

Wise words again Doc ! You truely are a hobby sage !

More greenstuff work tonight, nothing outrageous but getting close to finishing now. I'm planing on adding a few GW details if I can find then, maybe a bell or something to hang on the horns and some heads or skulls on the waist and I think that might do .

Thanks Doc.

So today I played around with some bits, Nurgle Herald anyone ? Or what would it count as??
It's super WIP , but imagine it with a ton of green stuff and maybe some jump pack engines on top ????

Let's heat your ideas / thoughts Dakkanaughts !

Very slowly slogging thru the greenstuff details on the DP.

I've made it really hard for my self by having to sculpt the head and arms on, as there are now lots of hard to reach nooks and crannies ....

And I got a start on the "Herald", I'm not really happy with the jump pack maybe I'll try cutting the engines off and mounting them on some fleshy arms of some kind???

I have some clawed arms to add to the body once the putty has cured.

Ok so I think I've probably had enough of greenstuff on Daemon Princes.
I'm gonna call it there, except to maybe change the helmet grills to be more 3 hole nurgly or something. But later....
Not had many comment on the Prince , dakkanauts tell me where it's weak !

The chaos aesthetic is not really my strong suit, so I can't offer much beyond that it all looks like it works/blends together.

Probably not many comments since it's already really good! Only things I could suggest is the left arm that has the cable under it reminds me of the pointing arm from the nurgle herald so a large flap of rotting skin hanging down would add some cool detail and overall look, and second perhaps the addition of some maggots or bugs coming out our around the wounds? Gotta think about he'll look when you paint him up so he catches the eye!
