Apparently you havent seen the stuff from McVey and the French guy who used to sculpt for Rackham...both of them are selling 28mm minis for around $25 USD after currency conversion. Its nice stuff...but the prices are nuts.
Whats my game?
Warmachine (Cygnar)
10/15mm mecha
Song of Blades & Heroes
Blackwater Gulch
X wing
Open to other games too

Warhammer players would love $12 for a single model
That's what I was thinking too!
Especially for a 'Character Model'!
Or better yet the $21 Batman models.
Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!
I pledged on the KS. Honestly, most of the sculpts are A1. The sidekicks are great too. I'm going to order a few more to act as palbots in Infinity and drones for my small not-Tau contingent.

There are some nice character figures for a variety of genres -- SF, pulp, fantasy etc and while "bombshells" they actually flash less flesh than plenty of the Infinity models.

GW Failcast Eldar Shadowseer $22.99
Edit: I concur, these models show interesting female warriors without relying on bare butt-cheeks or side-boob (beautiful mind you but I keep my wargaming and my pr0n separate).

Eldar (Craftworld Sahal-Deran) 2500pts. 2000pts Fully Painted.
Dark Eldar (Kabal of the Slashed Eye) 2000pts. 1250pts Fully Painted.
I really like my minis, just not so pleased about the metal used. Very brittle and some of the thinner parts, like the spear of the Valkyrie and the barrel of Dusty's repeater are breaks waiting to happen..
All, I am perfectly aware of the cost of GW or some boutique miniatures... but $12 for a single figure is too much, particularly when I can get similar figures for half as much from Hasslefree or Reaper.
I suppose I am fortunate that I have a very large backlog of miniatures...
I have almost a full set from the campaign (just missing 1 Babe and 2 of the larger pieces), and having finally gotten them in hand I can say.... ehh.
Don't mistake me, they are still quite nice, and with all the extras that came with backing, I don't feel ripped-off, but when I look at the webstore, I'm rather flummoxed by the pricing.
It's quite true that they are very reasonable compared to GW sculpts, but at this point that's pretty much damning with faint praise. What seems more relevant is comparing to Reaper Miniatures. Patrick Keith is one of Reaper's most prolific sculptors of female minis, and stylistically the Babes are basically indistinguishable from his Reaper work. Which is good... except that the Reaper sculpts are almost uniformly cheaper (seriously, out of like 120+ sculpts, sometihng like 5 are $11.99 and above).
Again, it's not that the Babes line is bad, it's just that if there is a reason Meagan the Buccaneer is $11.99, but Angelica Fairweather is $6.99 it's opaque (even more annoyingly, Angelica isn't just cheaper (and arguably a better sculpt, but YMMV) but is two sprues including a hat!).
There are some definite winners in the Babes line (of particular note I would say Professor Karrick, Delzira, and Wu Ling Shu offhand), and some very unusual models that are otherwise difficult to source (if there is another female in a old fashion diving suit I've not seen it).

do you happen to have the inquisitor? how is it scale wise? (maybe some pictures perhaps?)

I do, will post some pics in a few hours, have a meeting right now!
I have it, no pictures as I am at work, but height wise she is fine, she is just very slight. I'm not talking about her boobs not being big enough, but it looks like her ribcage is actually very small.
It could be the corset... as my fiancee just made me think.

Buzz, the only reason Reaper can sell so low that they do is because... they are Reaper. They're basically the Walmart of miniatures gaming. Just without all the Eviiiiiiil.
One of the biggest differences is in the casting. Casting in house requires less overhead in terms of inventory and lower real costs in that you are not also paying to support the overhead of another company too. Granted, Zombiesmith pays for a lot of outside sculpting work...so the numbers on short runs are likely a wash.
Sean_OBrien wrote: While I dont fault Patrick for his choice of pricing, you can find a lot of companies for lower...often a lot lower, than that even outside of Reaper.

Patrick was also using the Reaper facilities during the weekends to do casting. Don't know if he was charged for using the machines or not. He may be charging a bit more than expected to make up for the costs of all the "free extras" he threw in with the KS.
Ditto that. I'd buy a whole squad of them, if ever I could think of a use for them As it is, my painting table overflows with projects I need to get done.
On topic, I love both the Asian sculpts, plus the Victorian and the diver.

For the larger scale marines you're probably going to be fine. I dunno if you can clearly make out the images (apologies for the crap lightbox), but most of the Babes are a bit closer to what I would call Warmachine scale. One thing is that there is quite a bit of variability in the range: the Doctor Helen miniature, for example, is almost a full head shorter then most of the others.
Spoiler:
From Left to Right: Bombshell Babes Geraholt, Denegrah from the PP Cryx plastic starter, Bombshell Babes Mira, Bombshell Babes Dr. Helen, GW Space Marine from a painting starter kit, and Damsels of Darkmire Mummyria.

I don't want to seem like I'm making wine from Keith's grapes, but... let me use an analogy. A Mustang is a pony car, a fun car that is a sporty car rather then a sports car (or at least this is the case when I drove one). A Mustang isn't a Porsche, it isn't a Ferrari and it certainly isn't a Bugatti, but it's a fine, fun car if you have reasonable expectations.
The stuff Keith did for Reaper and his-own stuff at Bombshell are Mustang minis: fun, lacking a little in sophistication but can be exactly what you are looking for. The thing that is weird is that other small makers, including some that are arguably more sophisticated often have a generally lower price. Red Box Games runs a consistent $9 or so on human sized metal miniatures. I recently received my pledge from RBG's KS campaign, and... Tre is no Mustang. Tre is a Ferrari. Tre is, IMO, the fantasy equivalent of Infinity: exquisite non-heroic scale miniatures full of refinement.
Keith's stuff reminds me of a small maker that I came across recently, Harwood Hobbies (check out the Kali Death Cultists in their Sinbad line, they are pretty amazing). Again though, not the most refined, but Reaper level prices at $5-6.
I'm probably coming off more negative then I mean to, which probably comes down to disappointment. Keith had such a good campaign (he ended way north of $100k), he had great updates in terms of keeping people in the loop with production and so on, but in the end the stuff he delivered... is basically the stuff you could already buy, just not as cheap.
