Here's a nice picture of half of my gaming area. I've never taken pictures of the other end (a sitting area with couch and TV) or the storage area (a seperate room lined with shelves).

That's my baby. Four 4'x6' tables that make a 6'x16' table or a 4'x24' table as needed. Built with my own two hands (I am SO NOT a carpenter) it is the best gaming project I've done for myself.

I had to go get it, but here's a more Dakka-centric view of the table in use.

That's a ridiculous amount of BL novels. Also, I envy how much space you have - I grew up in a converted mobile home and shared a bedroom with all 3 of my siblings. I'd say your man-cave is about 1/3 the size of my old house. Thankfully I've since moved out into a house that's only slightly smaller. Not that my gaming space is much to speak of. I'll try to get pictures.

Not my gaming space, but it's where we commonly game, and the guy who does own it doesn't post here.

Eh...a lot Models, I think he has a few thousand of the D&D ones alone, and he probably has almost equal that in other models. A lot of stuff is unopened, he has a penchant for buying two copies of things, one to play and one to collect. Only a few of us really can/will make time for board games though, so we don't get to play those nearly as much as we'd like.

Heheh, yarp. Once we finish our current Pathfinder campaign (going on 2-2 1/2 years now), then the most current Hackmaster version is up next.

These are some incredible set ups! Totally jealous. I have some selves in parents garage stuffed behind other junk. All my white dwarfs hidden in my old bedroom. And in my flat a shelf of magazines and the rest of my miniatures jammed into draws in my desk! Haven't played a game in years.

When people buy houses is gaming space an important feature?

Some fething wonderful rooms here lads, I am filled with envy.

I need to get myself a designated room rather than a board haphazardly slapped on a kitchen table.

Kyrolons is particularly mint! Do your whole family play with you?!

No, Mattyrm. It's just myself and my mother (who I take care of) in the house. I get the whole basement. The people in the picture are just the guys I game with (at least once a week). I am the one at the back right of the picture.

First comes clearing the garage out and organizing the storage out there. Then comes building a table on which to wage war (oh, wait, get the portable A/C unit out there before building a table). THEN, there will be pictures.

Man I hate these threads!

They always make me feel so jealous of the pre set up tables and gaming stuff not placed 5 foot+ in the air to keep it away from little tiny sticky fingers and mouths that take over my house as soon as I leave for work.

I am resolved to building a 10' x 10' dad shed in the garden now - DAMN THE COST!

I've got an old 4x8 table in a corner of my basement, you can spot part of it in the shelves picture. It mostly gets used for construction projects and clutter collection.
