I think he's one of those guys who already has product and as such, doesn't see a need for others to voice their discontent, all the while more or less ignoring the reasons why some don't have stuff as of yet.

"I don't know what these guys are so dense about, I got my minis through my dropship location so I'm happy and as long as I'm happy everybody else should be as well."

Dropship locations are a great idea, no sarcasm there, but it sucks when there's not one nearby or your store couldn't garner enough backers to warrant such a status.

Meh, I have a dropship location, got my first wave, but I do not understand how could one be happy about that. The total of what I got is worth maybe under 100$ (counting what I spent on it). That's not even 25% of my pledge. But yeah, you're right the guy cannot see outside of the tip of his own nose.

Bookmarked! I guess I should go back to tea in the mornings as I mostly drink coffee to get something warm inside me in the morning and I like the taste.. I never really felt the kick everyone is talking about either.

Tea has caffeine in it as well, just not as much. That said, I've never had the same withdrawal symptoms from green or chai tea that I have with even half-strength coffee.

There's a lot of comparison shots if you just google or look in this thread (although admittedly it'sa bit long). They are slightly taller than GW, but the proportions are slightly different.

Supposedly Wave 2 is meant to include all of the troops and most/all of the support teams, and a handful of heroines.

Wave 3 is everything else.

So where would the Necropriestess Nepharya fit in? The second wave?

Probably wave 3, whenever that is. Sorry we can't be more precise, since RH has failed to tell backers anything beyond "We're busy hash-tagging."

Seems they've extended the re-opening of the pledge manager till the 4th, my resistance is crumbling, why does everyone want me to spend money at the one point of the year where I've spent it all on other people.

I imagine they'll start shipping stuff to Paypal backers sooner rather than later to access that stash of cash. It would be a bit more ethical than financing this campaign with another one.

We'll see how soon that will happen, Paypal already took the money for both of the extra orders I put in, one of these is made up of models that are out right now.

So wait, if my original mini was a wave infinity model and I place two separate orders, one made up of models that are out right now, I'll still have to wait until with strange aeons even death may die?

It was worth it for me,

as I got to see what their spincast resin looked like compared to the metals (and it compares very favourably, if it hadn't I'd have been able to change my later picks to avoid it as much as possible), I got a decent chunk of my order (I'd picked a lot of the completed heroines) and it didn't cost too much as I'm in the UK

(if I'd been in a different part of the world where the shipping would have been higher, or if I'd only chosen a few units 'available now' it probably wouldn't have been)

UPDATE #98 – FOR BACKERS ONLY
5 comments

Hi guys! After many long days and very short nights, here's the promised Update with details on Deals #2 and #3 described in our previous Update. These deals are reserved EXCLUSIVELY for you, our backers, in gratitude for your awesome support on the TGG Kickstarter and while we are finishing casting and shipping.

In this Update:

- Discount Code for Deal #2
- Discount Code for Deal #3
- Shipping News
- New Painted Minis
- Who Wants More Coasters / Drink Mats?
- New Webshop Design
DISCOUNT CODE for DEAL #2

Here it is! The discount code is CrankItUpTo11-TGGbackersOnly

It's an 11% discount on www.ragingheroes.com, good from now until late Wednesday December 10, that is, until midnight, Paris time (GMT+1).

And that's not all! Order during that period and we'll also include all 3 brand-new TGG Christmas Coasters in your shipment as a gift!

Please remember that this discount is RESERVED FOR TGG BACKERS, and so, you must use your TGG Pledge Manager email address to place your order.

Note: If the discount is used by non-backers, unfortunately we will not be able to honour it.
GET A BIGGER PARCEL: DEAL #3

You may recall that in Update #97, we promised you a Discount Code: “Deal #3 is from Dec. 5 to Dec. 10: Buy anything from our regular collection www.ragingheroes.com and we'll add to your parcel the TGG rewards that you chose which are already in stock (while stocks last).”

Good news! We are extending this offer to January 5, 2015!

So, for a full month, if you purchase anything in our webshop , you'll get a bigger parcel than expected.

Want in? It's easy:

- ADD this item to your Cart, and follow the instructions written there.
- Provide the email address that you used for the Pledge Manager.
- At Checkout, choose REGULAR SHIPPING (€ 11.90 Euro).
SHIPPING NEWS

As you may recall, the Snipers for all factions moved up to Wave 2, and they are now currently in stock.

Furthermore, all the expected Troops have now arrived, that is,
the KST Heavy Troops + KST Heavy Command Group,
the JB Regular Troops + JB Regular Command Group,
the IE Heavy Troops + IE Heavy Command Group.

However, one parcel got held up at the courier company over Thanksgiving week-end, and only came in this afternoon, so most shipments could only start today, instead of 3 days ago. But we've tripled the size of of the packing team, and so, shipping notices will be coming in regularly. Looks like this is going to be one busy week-end!
NEW PAINT JOBS

Note: Larger size images will be shared in the next Update.
WHO WANTS MORE COASTERS / DRINK MATS?

We've added Nurse Karoline (JB) to our set of TGG coasters, bringing it up to 5 different ones.

And we've also added 3 unique coasters just in time for the Holiday season. And if you order something in our webshop by December 10, we'll include all 3 X-Mas coasters for free, as an early Christmas present!

Of course, we will continue to include random samples in your Kickstarter parcels, but now, you can also grab all of them right away! Just head over to the Goodies section of our webshop!
NEW WEBSHOP DESIGN

Even if you don't need anything, why not check out our fresh new webshop? The original one was built five years ago, an eternity in web years... We will continue to work out the kinks over the next few days, so if you see some bugs, don't hesitate to drop us a note. And over the next few weeks, we will continue to add content.

The French and Spanish versions of the webshop will be updated next week.

So, 90% of that is ignorable waffle from my perspective, but I can stomach their self-aggrandising verbosity just this once since - providing they've not developed another case of Growing A Face-Arse And Speaking From It Syndrome - the Snipers are in so I can soon get my models and try to forget this whole affair ever happened.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

So... the spincast is better or worse than metal in your opinion? Your syntax there is confusing.

Seeing them painted actually sort of makes me regret pledging at all. The delays are fine, the poor communication was expected, and so on, but now I'm sort of dreading the idea that I might actually get some giant box from France and have to paint all the damn things.

So we are actually getting something shipped right now? Is that what they're saying?

I wish I knew what was shipping, it seems only heavy KST troops made it. Too bad, the troops are more-or-less half of my pledge.

I think this spincast is just as good as the metal,

and considering the number of bits some of the figures are in might even be preferable if you're gaming with them as they'll be less likely to fall apart if bashed or dropped

To me, it's actually kind of weird to see painted pics of these models, after seeing just concept art and renders for so long.
