I'm in the process of testing some scenarios for a Beerhammer Tournament that I'll probably be throwing at the Las Vegas Open. Naturally that means, it's time to pop open a can of PBR and take to the dice! We were playing The Hammering, which is basically like The Scouring, but with a 4.74% alcohol content.

A good report, and a lot of fun to read. Thank you for sharing a great idea. I will definitely be giving Beerhammer a proper try! Though we will play with good beer, not that bog water you yanks drink!

Ive also read some other interesting beer related ideas you might want to consider. Such as having a set number of 'terrain beers' which, when finished, can be placed on the table as LOS blocking and Impassable terrain. Chug fast enough and you can box in a troublesome Land Raider!

Actually, that's the next scenario were trying! Each player get's a 6-pack, whenever we finish a beer, we can place it anywhere on the table, it scatters 2D6" and models under the can takes a S6 Ap2 hit, survivors are pushed to the edge and the can is placed as an AV12 HP2 vehicle. It's a Beerteor shower.

Was going to ask for a single Chaos Space Marine win, but I found ONE through your site TheDiceAbide... Which were fought back in May... I guess I have to wait a couple of months before I'll see the next one. Maybe you need more Orks and less Chaos to win

To me the Chaos Space Marines needed to be characterised as a threat reaching back to the Imperium's past, a threat which had refused to lie down and become part of history. This is in part why the gods of Chaos are less pivotal in Codex Chaos; we felt that the motivations of Chaos Space Marines should remain their own, no matter how debased and vile. Though the corrupted Space Marines of the Traitor Legions make excellent champions for the gods of Chaos, they are not pawns and have their own agendas of vengeance, empire-building vindication or arcane study which gives them purpose.

Huh, actually I win most of my games, though I don't usually battle report my games. I'll keep that in mind though, maybe i'll have to post some "Chaos wins" battle reports for you.

Wait, you can deny the witch on vehicles now? That seems kinda wonky.

I was thinking of doing something like this. But with hard liquor.
it would go something like this.

Start of and third turn of the game take D3 shots
Then take 1shot for every point scored two for warlord death.

I like the report, and I have to say my nids have quite the win streak vs CSM, so I like to see that here as well.

I'm more of a dbl flyrant guy ( even though I have a custom built swarmlord) but seemed like he picked up steam as it went on.

BTW love the game idea, we are going to use this on a big game day coming up.

- 4500pts: Shinzon Dynasty
3000pts: Hive Fleet Empusa
- 3000pts Rampagers

That would suit me just fine! I know it's a lot to ask for but would it be possible if the Chaos army didn't include Plague Marines, Nurgle Obliterators or 2+ Heldrakes? Or is that not possible?

Well, I'll give it a shot, though it's playing a game with one hand tied behind my back, haha. I can't guarantee a win, but I'll write a battle report on it.

Great and I guess that's true, I just wanted to see if it could be done... Maybe I'll insist that you use Possessed Marines too On another note, I think a new scenario was introduced in the newest White Dwarf, a scenario where the battle field gets hit by meteors... Maybe you could combine it with your Beerteor shower...

Next step would be to start a tournament with those rules and no limit for the beers.

Well, I'm going to be running the Beerhammer 40k Tournament at the Las Vegas open, so already beat you to that!
