Can I delete my account? if so How?

i don't have a use for it any more so i want to delete it

You can't delete your Dakka account. However Legoburner can perma-lock it for you if you ask him.

From what I know, deleting is not an option. I think Lego has started in the past that there are too many things in the database that are tied to the account and that it would make things pretty screwy if accounts get deleted.

Perma-locks are the only options, or just don't use it anymore.

You could just leave and never come back, why do you need to get rid of the account?

Jesse, Legoburner (one of the Admins) will pop into this thread sooner or later. Alternatviely you could try PM'ing him for possibley a quicker reply.


Of course you could always do what Cyporiean suggested and leave and never come back. But we all know Dakka is far too addictive for that to happen.

I was really just lurking these N&B threads, but I had to say that this would make an excellent page header.

Generally the solution here is that an admin changes your account password so you can't get back in.
