Not where I should be

Thank you guys, and rip away dude, thats why I am here, to share.

Update incoming in a bit, but for now I am a bit upset. In particular with Wayland Games.

I have dealt with them several times and they have been good, apart from taking slightly longer than most for things to arrive. I have always had good products well packaged with no real issue.

However I recently ordered Operation Icestorm from them. Now it is not entirely their fault, as with the order I had a couple other items which where listed as "Available (usually shipped in 3-9working days)" on them, which I mistakenly thought that they would get to me in no more thatn 10-12 days. Operation Icestorm was listed as in stock at the time of the order.

Now they inform me that "Operation Icestorm" is out of stock and is "estimated to arrive in the next two weeks".

This is an ongoing case so can't rant to much, but enough to say this is the last order i will be placing with them. Totally disappointed. I saw a couple days ago a thread on dakka saying about this issue, wish I had seen it before. So got to say to you, I do NOT recommend them to my friends.!!

Rant over off to paint a rusty wall, and some tag's which I must restrain myself for.

Sorry to here you were effected by this man. It's a ridiculous mess, you should all have received these a long time ago. I'm annoyed on your behalf. If you can cancel that order and get your money back I'm pretty sure Shae has a couple left in stock. Just pm him, or post in his thread, to check first, he's quick to reply and I've never seen anyone say less than brilliant things about the service.

Lookin good! That totally sucks about icestorm. I think there was a bit of a Snafu with Wayland and the US shipments from the first Battle Systems kickstarter too.

Nice fence (and good idea to stick them together and then cut them, I'd have ended up doing that the long way...) and the wall is progressing nicely.

Good luck with the order.

Thank you gents.

Well I have managed to get a refund from Wayland, just waiting for it to clear.

On to stuff....

Still got some bits to add, some veg for a start.

Oh and did this, hoping I have not buggered them.

Criteque welcome, indeed needed.

Off to do some sculpting of viney bits.

They're very good. But here's my thought: why is the recesses area verdigris, if the rest isn't metal?

My thinking was that they were brass, or copper panels inlaid in the recesses. Maybe not then?

Makes sense, but I don't feel like there's quite enough of original metal to give it context.

Some brown washes should fix it. Those walls look great mind you and the Graffiti is excellent!

The picket fences made me chuckle. I might have to watch blue velvet again now.

That land raider looks fantastic, almost a dead ringer for the actual model

I've had trouble with wayland before, the only thing I order from there now is paints and products from the smaller companies around they are OK in that regard.
Also I hear if you say the name 3 times a rep appears to defend the company name ...

Keep at it Cam. You have to try these things.

The rust streaks could maybe be darker in the centre. Like this:
Spoiler:

Also, as a little touch, maybe a recent thin streak over the graffiti. Shows the rusting is an ongoing and constant effect.

The Verdigris. The texture you have there is very rocky/concrete-y. I'm assuming that you're trying to show that the metal has corroded away and stained the concrete?
I can't find any pictures to help with this though, I keep finding things people have painted green... Try having a google to find what you are going for.
I can't really help much beyond that, as I don't know what it looks like IRL to be able to say if you have it right or not (you may be spot on and I don't know...). Maybe a more subtle application of green?
