I mean, you'll hard counter some people who can't deal with the MC's, but while funny, this isn't the power build for the supplement. The whole point is being able to bring an fload of scoring crisis...who are great in their own right. A single HQ Riptide I think could work well for STW denial but I just don't see spamming them working out as well with the supplement as it can with the vanilla codex. You don't have the numbers to mitigate the points sink.

It is a fun list after all, I will probably take a look in more detail and build a proper list.
Also I realised my list is illegal because I don't think I can take that riptide HQ without farsight lol

Yeah I only glanced at the leak. I'm not sure if you can make the Riptide your warlord if you have to take Farsight; it would make sense that he had to be the WL...

I have the supplement, the earth caste pilot array is a signature system, so only one allowed. On the up side riptides can take ANY supplement signature system just like characters.

It came out yesterday.
Not to mention, the Farsight Enclave suits can only have Farsight Enclave signature systems. Standard Tau codex systems are not allowed.
I think the Farsight Enclave might be best if you bring the HQ Riptide in with a Crisis team as allies, rather than primary. They are still troops, can still cap objectives, and you can still shove that Riptide in with stealth teams as they count as Battle Brothers with vanilla Tau.

But only the earthcaste one is anyuseful for the riptides, i dont see any others useful.

I really want a crysis suit only army though so there is not really any point to using the normal codex.
I will have to retake a look now since the earthcaste can only be taken once.

Erm, Is there any rule against putting normal Tau as allies to the farsight? i am not known to these supplement, but i expected them to be kind of a "expansion" than a "sub-faction" that is avaliable as allies...

They can be battle brothers, but this does mean that you can have 2 farsight.
Also I updated my original list.
