So the main idea is to stick the burna boyz and the kff in the looted wagon with the skorcha. Surround this loted wagon with the BWs and march them forward. Once we get close the burna wagon can jump out and do it's thing. The nob bikers will sweep up one flank and work their way across the board from the side. One small squad of lootas cause...why not. the deff dread just to be annoying and to help fight off outflankers/deepstrikers going after my looted wagons.

So taking advantage of the dual foc to max out the heavy slot. There is no direct counter to flyers here, so 3 flyers would probably rip me apart, but with orks BS of 2, taking a BS1 to shoot flyers isnt a huge jump for me, and I could probably glance things out of the sky.

I think I am going to nickname my Deff Dread the goalkeeper. He is just going to sit in the back, defend the back line and take shots to the face.

Would hiding a Looted Wagon behind BW even work?

As far as my opponents are concerned, 1mm of visibility allows them to shoot. And theres always some tiny gap like that.

vehicle obstruction. Sure they may get line of sight but depending on how much they can see, it is still hard to shoot it. Wait, is that still a thing? I havent used very many vehicle heavy lists but I remember that in the 5th edition book there was some cover if the the vehicle was mostly obstructed.

Or they can let the BW right in front of them with the big spikey bits looking all nasty come unimpeded across the field for a 20boy assault, that works also.

yes cover saves for facings that have at least 25% covered
better cover saves available depending on how good the cover is see the BRB and FAQ for Details

and with a KFF big mek along they all get a 5+ save anyway ..for the front vehicles and the ones behind will get a bonus..

Yeah, the idea is for the KFF in the looted to give all 3 BWs a cover save.

Im also pulling out the BRB to check out the obstruction rules to see if it stacks with KFF.



EDIT: It does stack! So if the looted wagon is obscured it gets a +1 to it's cover save. So the looted wagon would have a 4+ cover save by being surrounded by the BWs and they would all have the 5+

Actually if the facing front is fully obscured but they can see the side, it gets a 3+

i thought if front was fully obscured then you get a +1 to your existing cover save. KFF is only a 5+

Either way, you're still going to be getting a cover save out of it.

It depends on what cover save you get from hiding behind another tank.

This *should* be a 4+ or even a 3+, but in reality its probably 5+ because durr
