Big time bike list focusing on speed. There are a few synergies here. One farseer to join the Shining spears and rolling on divination hoping for perfect timing to ignore cover. The Baron will join the other group of spears. Final Farseer likely to go with guardian bikes. The venoms will each stick close to the Farseers so they can make use of Grisly Trophies.

The hope is to soften units up significantly with plenty of high strength ranged firepower and reaver passes before breaking a flank with some, hopefully, well planed bike assaults.

Nothing is really optimized. The original plan was to run a wraithknight and I may just drop the dark reapers for one. I'm also thinking of downgrading the trueborn for some more scoring kalabites but I do like the firepower they put out.

I'm looking for tips, tricks and constructive criticism to refine this list further. This is my first Eldar list since earlier in 5th edition it's likely I don't know as much as I could.

Executing Exarch

The Twilight Zone

I like the theme! Lots of bikes should work really well!

Farseers get spears if points allow.

Both shining spear squads need an exarch with a star lance. The baron gives hit and run but having a contingency is never a bad thing. Consider monster hunter for each squad. While situational, the damage boost you get against an MC is insane for how cheap it is.

The dark reapers are static in your otherwise mobile list. I would drop them for a more mobile element, although their loadout is not bad. I second taking a wraithknight in their place.

The nightspinner does not need the shuricannon, but I would take holofields. The cannon works OK with the torrent, but better to stay back and barrage using the torrent as a defensive or situational thing.

The shredder born are meh, and the 5th body is expendable. Your list can put out a bunch of mid strength power, but blasters would add AT.

I know you want the venoms for the GT's and dudes inside, but they should all have a second splinter cannon for more poison dakka. Conside giving your kabbies blasters to help with AT, or switch to wytches with haywire grenades.

Reavers work really well in this build, and if you put one of your farseers here you have 3 very dangerous boosted jetbike squads rushing your opponent!. If you want them without an IC, consider a champ so they don't break and run off the table.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

shining spears are quite possibly the worst unit in the entire eldar codex. Maybe the melee wraithguard are worse.. but it is really close..

Thanks for the sound advice. I'll be making a number of these changes and update shortly. I thought shredders were the disintegrator cannon for some reason.. long time since I worked with de.

Admiral. Care to elaborate on why? The general consensus I've seen thus far is they are pretty midrange.

No rangers yes blasphemy I know. Am going to be modeling them shining spears on the new fancy lizardmen terradons and the reavers with the ones carrying the bomb/ weight thingy. Its why I'm wanting to write a competent bike list.

Very expensive, requires exarch/wep/hit and run, works out to 30 pts each for 8 of them, str 6 only while charging, lance rule is basically useless, better cheaper faster units in the same fast attack slot, basically a double costed marine, will die just as easily as one too.

Very bad unit all around, I dont care about the fluff or lore of this game enough to even know what an "exodite" list is, but what I can tell you is that shining spears in general suck.
