I'm putting together a fluffy list for some fun, casual play, but I still want to improve it and get feedback so my skills can grow. I'd like to get feedback regarding not only what could be done better with the list, but also affirmation in regards to what was done right so that I can implement these tactics into future lists.

I know this is a fluffy list but it is very slow. I would invest in a rhino and definitely give The Lord a daemon weapon, burning brand?

Or swap the foot daemonettes for the calvary ones. I forget there names, but they would radically up the speed.

What does the mark/deamon of slaanesh rule do again? I thought it made you faster, at least to an extent.

They do two different things. Mark of Slaanesh grants +1 Initiative, and allows models to benefit from the Icon of Excess, which grants Feel No Pain to all models in a unit with the Mark of Slaanesh. Also, a Chaos Lord with a Mark of Slaanesh unlocks Noise Marines as Troop choices.

The Daemon of Slaanesh rule confers the Fleet, Rending, and Hatred (Daemons of Khorne) special rules, and adds 3" to a unit's run distance.

It looks pretty good, though in that case you will be wasting your points buying Slaanesh alignment for a soul grinder. You won't be running with it and you certainly won't need rending...

I'm required to choose a Daemonic Alignment for the Soul Grinder, and it just so happens that in addition to fitting in with my army, the Slaanesh alignment is the cheapest.
