I was going to put two trenchers and two trencher rifle grenadiers on bases today, but the USPS decided to not try to deliver the package and state that there was no answer when they tried to get a signature.

Finished GSC patriarch painting and basing.
x2 GS familiars painted, bases remaining.
Test block painting started on x1 aberrant.
x15 chaos cultists for Execution Force primed.
Assembled DW Cassius - 10 more DW Marines left to build.

Played my first ever game of battletech though I've been gaming since the 70s and 80s. I won but it was so keystone kops that it would have been retconned if the fight had been novelized.

Be'Lakor is too tiny of a model. I have combined a current demon prince, Bloodthirster wings, an OOP 40k DP sword and a relatively small amount of green stuff to make an adult Be'Lakor. Pictures will follow after he's painted.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

There is not this idea.

Tried multibasing some dudes for the first time.

I like it. So much easier to move around, and looks pretty nice even unfinished as it is. I can't imagine doing this for everything I have, mind you.

Played a couple more games of X-wing last night, and it turns out I'm officially crap at it! Or rather, my dice just hate me; I was flying fine, while my opponents kept slamming into asteroids, but every time I lined up a shot, the red dice said 'no'...

Such a great game, though, and luckily my two opponents are now completely hooked, so hopefully I'll be getting some games in more regularly now.

I am in the process of casting 39 bases/day (when I'm not too tired)

I took a few pictures of the 15ft of Kneadatite for you, Vermis. I will post them along with the "after" picture when I am done casting them all.

My boy allowed me to cast 39 bases last night! Hopefully tonight will be the same.

Also, as part of my continuous terrain making brainstorming, I have also been considering the idea of buying old, run down Rhinos, Chimeras and the occasional flyer to use for Terrain purposes.

Got my Start Collecting! Tau Empire box (from eBay) in the mail today. I've already assembled the Ethereal on Hover Drone, and will probably do the Crisis team soon (yes, I intend to magnetize them). The formation that comes with the box is not very good, but I still will probably use it in casual games as an excuse to use the Ethereal, because the model is awesome.

Took a break from painting teeny tiny Russians for FoW, Saturday saw a regiment of 24 Napoleonic Old Guard assembled and primed, Saturday night saw the flesh colours finished.

Today got the bulk of the uniforms done, just the white strapping, highlighting of the various black colours and final trim to finish.

Did these as an experiment, wanted to see how viable doing a unit in a week is, seems like it will be possible - especially if I do what I usually do and build/prime during the week on evenings leaving the weekend free to take advantage of the daylight.

Nice to painting something that isn't green or khaki...
