Besides the forgeworld heresy era ML x5 pack, is there anywhere to get missile launchers for marines without breaking the bank?

IG missile launchers tend to be easy to find. Alternatively hunter killer missile mounts can be repurposed. The cheapest method though is probably to get some plastic tubing and make your own.

Was thinking that, I have used the hunter killer method to mixed results (my original method was bionic missile arm, I gotta redo that one)

Ive been looking myself, for my Long Fangs, Used the Missile launcher from the Rhino, and a few different arms, then cast the parts (Of course they didn't come out perfectly so I had to cut away parts and re model them). The pintle mounted arms work best though. Then I slapped a chaos chainsword hand-guard on there, and a chaos cannon barrel to give it a little zest.

Thanks! Beats playing $12+ for a single missile launcher!
It should be on all of them but like I said the casting process was not exact. In some cases the grip, and whole shoulder pad was gone, so I hacked them both back off, and simply stuck an actual arm on there.

I do not take credit for the following image. It's from a dakka user called: korben I also used IG launchers on my CSM. I had to do some cutting to make it fit. You can use the bolter-wielding arms, just have to do some cutting/filing at the shoulder point and re-arrange the hand, and off you go. Another option is to just get some plasticard tubing and your buddy's busted guitar strings. ADENDUM: damn, beaten to it by desubot. NEVERMIND!!

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.
It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from. |
