This looks like an item one might see in the December special releases from GW. It is similar to the dice cubes released with Mechanicus symbols for Apocalypse. Photo was found at Tyronforge.

How much would these cost? Could make an alright gift.

I wonder if that is a 2 or a 3 on the side.

The Mechanicus version of this was $30 US earlier this year. Hopefully not more than that this time. Not sure about the UK price, but you might be able to find that on an older thread about the Apocalypse release.

The Mechanicus cube came with something like 125 dice for $30. These look like 27 packs, which GW regularly sells for $8.25. (Yep, that's right -- the Mechanicus cube was actually a deal.)

The Apoc one? That was 125 dice, not 27. I'd guess whatever a normal dice cube costs, plus $5

Can count the dice in the photo, but not really tell the size since there's nothing in the pic for comparison. If it's the small dice and there's 27 of them as in the regular stock item then those cost $8.25 US currently. They used to be around $5.95, but that's gone up too. If they are limited edition while stocks last I'd expect them to be more, but hopefully not too much more for a small cube. If they are $10 or less that would be really good. I have no business buying more dice when I own so many, so it would seem less frivolous if I don't have to spend too much to collect them.

Last year or the year before GW had the dice cubes with the dice in new transparent colors for a single limited production run in December, but these are nicer since the outer cube has a more unique GW design similar to the idea behind the Mechanicus cube even if it is smaller.

I don't see a unique design like a Chaos star on the dice themselves. The Mechanicus dice had the badge on the "1" side of the dice as well as the unique holes on the cube that held them. The cube for the Chaos dice appears to be the only thing with a Chaos star on it here.

Side looks like a 3 to me. The 2 is on the top lid that is open.

Yes, these look like a new release of the same dice cube they have, 25 d6, a scatter, and a fantasy artillery die. They are good size dice, perhaps 3-4mm across. Good for rolling large numbers, as all 25 easily fit in a hand.

You mean 3x4mm across?

Yeah, that seem correct, clearly in the bottom left of the pic it's possible to see a 1 and a 6 on the red dice.

These are cool, The dice cubes are one of GW's few hobby items that are both good value, quality, nicely designed and just good!
Unlike the tapes/templates which are (horrible)style over substance.
I'm glad that they're keeping up with them.

I wonder if the pearl coloured dice are tzeentch or undivided and if there will will be blue, purple and mixed cubes too?
The other cubes are delivered to stores in 6 packs, iirc in black, bone, green, blue, red, mixed.

Given GW's love for logistics I'll wager we get six colourways...
Green-Nurgle
Blue-Tzeentch
Red-Khorne
Purple-Slaanesh
Pearl/white-Undivided
Either a Black or a Mixed cube- Undivided???

Aren't they industry standard 16mm dice?

Got my hands on the Nov WD early. Got some info on the cubes (already posted it in the Chaos Collections thread, but might as well post it here for completeness sake.

5 Chaos Dice Cubes, containing 25 normal dice, a scatter die and an artillery die.

1 contains green dice (Nurgle)
1 contains red dice (Khorne)
1 contains blue dice (Tzeentch)
1 contains grey dice (Slaanesh)

the final one contains a mixture of all 4 colours.

They could have put the respective Gods Icon on the box rather than the generic 8 pointed star to make it a little more special.

Maybe they will release those separately.

That would require a separate production runs for each box. That doesn't make any economical sense.

I feel like pink or purple would have made me much more interested in the Slaanesh dice.

But they're not Slaanesh or Tzeentch dice. They're grey (for Slaanesh? Really? Grey???) and blue dice ...

By that logic, or to be honest a little bit better logic, here are some "Slaaneshi" dice for you at what I guarantee is a better price:

It is a cool idea, but it looks as though it could of been developed further such as the icons of the Chaos ods on the dice cube instead of the generic 8 pointed star.
