I am looking for Squigs to attach to Nobz and Warboss models from the AOBR kit.
The price point on eBay seems too high, I don't want to pay $5 per Squig.
I saw an "evil tomato" alternative that was great, but still pricey.
Does anyone have a cheap and effective modeling alternative that they could direct me to, please.

Novice capable advice would be most useful to me.

how big do you need them to be? one option is to use any one of the tyranid creature heads, carnifex, genestealer, gaunt or even rippers, and then just attack it whith GS to make it more orky less buggy, and then sculpt legs on.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

I really appreciate the idea, thank you. I'll have to cruise a bit for those head parts - but they seem pretty common especially when compared to Squig rarity.

Thank you.
