Not sure how I feel about MLs in drop-pods, but I suppose if you're just using the drop pod for placement reasons, it's not much different than starting on the board (where an opponent can just adjust to you and you have to move anyways.) Having said that, I assume the top-two pods will be coming down first in most games, which again, raises my concern that the other two will not only have to wait in reserve, but will also not be able to shoot other than Snap-shot the turn they arrive.

I know we've talked about this list before (Zack's a friend), but didn't realize this until just now. Curious to see what your strat is here.

Want to be super aggressive with this list. Like a noose thighting around the throat. And I grabbed missle launchers, Honestly not even sure why. Should I drop ml for another vv body and try for a multi assault on turn one?

Drop the meltas on the LOTD. Put a power fist on the sargent, and plasma gun and plasma cannon on the grunts.

Since they have 3++ they are a good tarpit squad against deathstars. The sargent should be able to ID most non EW characters.

Why the plasma????? Cause all ranged attacks with LOTD ignore cover. Your other units should be killing vehicles on the drop. If the LOTD isn't tarpitting an enemy unit, it should be clearing troops from objectives.

That's fine, just use it as a shooting squad knocking off rangers, scouts, anything that relies on a cover save.
