Time for this month's vows (wow almost the end of the year!).

I didn't get much hobbying done in October unless you count buying stuff and building a computer

This month I hope to get some Dark Angels items built:

1. Build as much as I can for my DA 'Power Armor' List
2. Build as much as I can for my DA 'Deathwing' List
3. Build as much as I can for my DA 'Ravenwing' List

How about you folks?

I plan to paint one SM tac squad. With the way things have been going lately, I'll be doing good to get that. I may assemble the rest of the army as much as possible, also. Some things, like the Stormtalon, will need to be assembled and painted in stages. i hate doing that.

I have taken some time off from the 'Vows', but I am back to say that I am going to complete my Deathshroud Termies and the FMC this month...they have been sitting on the shelf, mocking me.

The DT are going to be slightly converted, I found some little resin skulls on the auction site...



I also just ordered some Daemon bits so I can make some changes to my Daemon Prince. I am going to swap out his arms and add some spikes and icons and pauldrons, switching him over to Death Guard:

Play no more 40k until my Eldar army is painted!

Finish up my newly started landspeeder.

1. finish up my centurion squad from last month
2. start work on assembling and painting two 5-man LotD squads (using models from the new tac marine box). I doubt I'll have these painted by the end of the month, though.

Mine are somewhat scaled back compared to last month - got way too ambitious there

1) Finish 3 Melta bikes - about 50% done.
2) Multi-melta attack bike - built and primed.
3) Go from start to finish on 6 grav bikes - Still on sprue & in need of bits
4) Paint a Stormtalon - Built, not primed

Seems reasonable, imo. maybe the ST is pushing it? But i should atleast be able to start it.

1. Assemble, prime and paint new Exorcist 1/0
2. Prime and Paint Leviathan Crusader 1/0
3. Assemble/Paint optional weapon arms 5/0
4. Paint New SoB models
5. Attempt to acquire SoB heavy weapons girls
6. Paint my remaining Katyushas
7. Paint U.S Airborne infantry squad.

This month I'm building and painting:

Spartan
Fire Raptor
3 Repressors
3 Immolators
30 Special Weapon Sisters.
6 Nob Bikers
Avenger conversion using a Valkyre

Made a good start and built these yesterday, they just need gaps filling now:
Spartan
Fire Raptor
3 Repressors

Finish painting my ISU-122/152s
at least assemble the 5 Shermans I got.
Decide if I want to build one, two or all four of the Tiger Is and then do that.

I suppose stretch goals would be to at least begin painting the tanks I build.

Finish converting and greenstuffing the nurgle terminators.

Well I don't want to be to ambitious but here is what I want to finish asap:
1) Finish painting my 24 firewarriors (75% are primed and base coated)
2) Good start on my Skaven clanrats (95 left)
3) Paint my Hammerhead

I still have a lot more to paint including a skaven hellpit abomination and 8 crisis suits plus moooooore stuff.
I also have 40+ lotr goblins 40+ warriors of minas tirith but I don't really want to start that until my Tau is finished and my Skaven horde

1. Wash my minitures
2. Do the bases
3. Re do models
Not too much but being me it will take all month

1) Finish valkyrie bases. Seriously need to stop putting them off
2) Paint valkyrie weapons and cockpit windows.
3) Finish 1 full squad of SOMETHING (seriously none of my armies have one full squad painted)

Get 1000 pts of my craftworld Mymeara army painted to tabletop standards!

Feeling good about myself

Paint both my dkok commissars, re-spray my half tracks and king tiger, paint my panzergrenadier command.

I never really do this but I shall have a try at pledging this time .

This month now that I have enough money, and my lovely GF bought me all the Vallejo game paints. I will build, paint and base a 2000 Eldar Wraith army.

This must be done by 24th of November where I've signed up for a tournament.

2 Spiritseers
3 Wave Serpents

15 Wraithguard
1 Wraithfighter
1 Crimson Hunter

I've got all the things I need, and a plan of how I want them to look, based on a Wraithknight a blogger called ThirdEyeNuke painted. So I just need to get started tonight.

That gives me just under 19 days to finish.

Finish building phantom titan
Start building 2 revenant titans

Consider starting to paint 3 vyper jetbikes.

I'm going to stop joining this thread. Ever since I started posting here, one delay or another has hit me. Part of my goal this month involved using my airbrush to get the nice even coat of yellow I need for my Fists. The airbrush ain't working, and I won't be able to get a new one until 11/22/13. So... if I can get it done in that time frame, I'll give it a shot.

What happened to your airbrush? :S is it just clogged or something else?

My first day of my 2000 pledge is going well!

I got everything built except 5 Wraithguard but also I made my 5 oval bases and 15 40mm from cutting up a bunch of cork sanding blocks, fitting them together then coating then with Vallejo black lava paste.

Gf is not pleased about all the mess from left over cork all over the living room but I've got my momentum now.

Tonight I shall undercoat everything with chaos black spray and base colour with Vallejo bone white via airbrush.

Chaos arms and spikey bits for FMC arrived yesterday, also Deathshroud have first base-coat on...

I have no idea. I've been soaking it in alcohol, but it still won't work. It was cheap anyway. The one I'm going to get is much better.

1: finish stripping all my old models
2: build my airbrush paint station
3: organise my work area
4: finish my war hound scratch build body

I've had a weeks worth of painting and building time to get on with my eldar 2K pledge, I've got 11 days left before I need to finish and I think I'm still on target.



Just got a wave serpent left to do then I need to tidy up and start painting designs and stuff
