Is there a page where it says whether an attack bike counts as one model or two?

I'd like to ask if a 3 man bike squad with an attack bike attached would be a legal scoring troops choice in an army that contains a captain on bike, or whether this needs to be a 4 man bike squad with an attack bike.

One model. The only part of the rules where it would say it counts as 2 is the part in CombatSquad that states a full bike unit is 8 bikers + the attack bike.

I think that a C:SM bike squad has to have a minimum of 3 bikes to be legal. The fact your taking a HQ on a bike doesn't affect the number of models only its position in the FoC.

nope. 3 bike squad is fast attack. 5 bike squad is troops that however can only be taken if you give your captain or chapter master a bike.

You are right. Also it no longer states that an attack bike is 2 models so I guess you need 4 bikes and 1 attack bike to make it legal like you said.

Chaos can't take Bikers as Troops. Not sure how that works for SM though. On topic though I think an attack bike counts as a single model in all respects. When the model dies the whole thing gets removed no?


Gets along better with animals... Go figure.

afaik chaos cant even have attack bikes so I dont know how he thought I was talking about csm.

Its the confusion between C:SM (codex:space marines) and CSM (chaos space marines)
