I just bought the Imperial Bastion kit.

The rules clearly imply that you can have all four heavy bolters facing the same way.

How can I convert it?

Has anyone seen a conversion where all bolters are facing one way?

If you really really really want to, just get some plasticard. Carefully cut out the panels that have the bolter sponnson, and replace its with plasticard, then transfer it to the new area, apply more plasticard to cover the gaps top and bottom, and off you go. I've not actually looked at the bastion to see if there are going to be issues, but I can tell you, you will regret it later. I know many people that would set up their guns, and then the enemy would place a large cliff or structure blocking the weapons during terrain set up, and it's all perfectly legal to do that. If the weapons are not restricted in their arc of fire, ie, the weapon must have an angle to be able to shoot, well, I think I'd rather carve out the corners on my towers and put the bolters there....

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

Isn't "Clearly imply" an oxymoron? Either its clear or its implied

And then prepare for it to spend a lot of time sitting on the shelf, as opponents refuse to let you use it regardless of what the book may suggest...
