Yeah, we have a Red Blok player - but he's holding onto his stuff with a death grip. I used to have some Red Blok but sold it last year for a huge profit. My brother also has the world's largest best Oni army http://at-43.understairs.nl/forum/index.php?topic=1007.0

Man I love that flyer! But yea I don't blame him, I would too! I wanted to get more than the Dotch yaga from the MM sale, I've really been wanting to pick up a Hussar but they are sooooo expensive! I wish they would have put them on sale too.

Ha - yeah I was geared up to buy a ton of Therian walkers and.... not on sale. D'oh!

The Hussar is only $18, totally worth it. The other units they have in stock are basically right around original retail price... which is what I was paying for them when AT-43 was still alive and kickin'

Reaper started their "12 Days of Reaper" promotion. No discounts, but rerelease of limited miniatures: Sophies, anthopomorphs, and psychotic snowmen.

OT, But RightStuff anime and manga has its 13 Days of Christmas holiday sale.

Oh, and Toys R Us has a Clearance for the rugrats!

you could still get slight discounts from online retailers, it's probably 10 percent less of a discount than what I got.

I wanna put up digital signs/bill boards, I will be using those little digital key chain frames

Spoiler:

Going to pop them (the screens) out of their houses and make them a new house to mount to the building. Just not sure if I should with something more sleek as dictated with Infinity's style or something that matches the current structure and go with a more art deco housing for the housing?

Need to go find my pipe bender to bend some brass pipes for these buildings.

Last year FRPGames had an "end of the world" year end clearance when they took an extra 50% off the clearance price. Anyone know if they do something like this every year, or if it was a one off?

They have only done it two of the last four years IIRC... having done it last year, they might not do it again. They also took a lot of flak because they were over a month behind on shipping in some cases.

Aww, that's a shame. I ended up getting into 2 new Malifaux factions because I just couldnt pass up some of those deals. Oh well, better luck next year.

I ordered twice last year during the sale and got my stuff within 5-7 business days each time but I could see an issue if their "in stock" system was derping on certain items (conjecture on my part). My only issue is that their shipping costs were a bit inflated compared to other stores and even my own shipping costs (likely higher than them). Charging $4 more than a flat rate small box when what I ordered easily fits in one raised an eyebrow. I contacted them and they dropped it $1... that's something I guess.

Yeah. its one reason I dont often order from them unless theres a sale. Their shipping can be all over the place. I was going to order a few packs of Micro Arts bases and the shipping would have been over $6, which is just crazy.

Got one of my two Miniature Market orders over here in the UK, pretty good for international post especially at this time of year

(of course it's the second shipped one that turned up, the first is MIA)

I received both of my Miniature Market orders, and there were no errors. I don't get to play with my minis until the 25th, but I did get to "check" that everything "was there".

I am so glad I went for all those $3 and $4 Arcane Legions and Alkemy kits. I'll probably never play the games, but I will have sooooooooo many sword pew-pews. They also look like they will be fun to dip. Also, the Confrontation minis look really good now that I'm over the whole prepaint thing. I feel like I pledged in the fastest kickstarter ever!

Crap, got my very last Black Friday order from MM and had the notice that the Alkemy Kingdom of Avalon starter set was out of stock. Unfortunately I ordered all the expansions, too... so if anyone picked up extra Avalon starters and would want to sell one, lemme know...

Miniature Market is having a sale where you get 10x the usual points on clearance items. (i.e. basically get 10% back for future use)

Tons of Mantic stuff (including Basilieans, some big army deals) Dystopian Wars (and the 28mm Dystopian Wars game - the name escapes me).

Probably because there is no 28mm Dystopian Wars game!

I regret not going as crazy on Miniature Market's sale as I did. Sure, I got a bunch of stuff... but I ended up getting nothing to actually paint!
Everything was prepainted I ended up getting for myself- I did get a few unpainted goodies for my cousin, but there was an empty space in my painting spot so I had to go to my FLGS to stock up on new things to clog up my desk.

Going to go try my Darkworld/ Chaotic amalgamation at school today, along with a few other board games I picked up cheap. Should be fun.

Then I think I'll be heading back to the FLGS to buy more stuff to paint, since school gets out today, and that is something most certainly worth celebrating!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

He's trying to kill a robot. Let's help him out: Every single sentence I say is a lie. What is the last digit of pi?

Anyway, I don't get why the Highlord doesn't paint over the prepaints. A good primer should work. Also, how could he not have bought some Arcane Legions? It was like $3 for 40 unpainted miniatures! That's wargamer immortality right there.

I'll try not to cross Alpharius' eyes any more, but who's to say I didn't buy any Arcane Legions?

Honestly... I didn't think of them when I wrote that. In my mind they didn't "count" as minis to paint. I don't know why either. Maybe they were more toy- like than all my other toy soldiers.

Then again, my eyes start to cross when I see how many figures are in those boxes and I imagine trying to get paint to all of them. That's probably why I'm more fond of smaller skirmish games- keeps my vision straight!
