Pretty sure they have offered this deal at UK shows - they were certainly doing a free or very cheap card case with a Kaiser purchase at Warfare.

The KR US factory wanted to run the offer during the US Thanksgiving celebrations, and as we have 2 fully functioning facilities they can do an offer that suits their market coverage, KR in the UK do a similar deal at all the UK shows (we attend approx. 40-45 UK shows), and are expanding out attendance at the EU shows next year all being well.

Be sure to take advantage during the next week of the offer, it is not limited to 1 per customer either so no need to group together. This great deal helps you organise your storage and your transport all in one simple purchase.

Still seems a little uneven - US customers can just order online, everyone else has to attend a show to get the deal. I appreciate that this is done for Thanksgiving, which is a US festivity, but I've never seen anything similar happen for any holidays elsewhere (unless it's happened but not been announced on the twitter feed).

Edit: I realise this might come across as whining, but it just frustrates me as I still need to get so many more KR cases to store and transport all my stuff; and whenever I see something that might help ease that cost I'm ineligible.

KR did offer this last year/year before last to the uk/Europe as I bough a filled double backpack in it.

I find this rather disappointing as I only bought another KR case a few weeks ago and would have held off for this if it was available.

Shows or not it strikes me as a bit cheap to make it US only.

The offer at that point was when we launched the KR Backpack range and it was on offer to all customers in all markets, it wasn't a regional offer like the one KR USA have decided to run from the KR USA factory for the USA celebration of Thanksgiving,

What's funniest of all in this, to me, is that KR has actually succeeded in making me switch to, of all things, battlefoam as a supplier, because of a general dislike for their way of going about things. The alternative being fething Romeo. Congrats guys, that's something of an accomplishment there

How is this not an attack? This sounds absolutely childish. You're getting this upset over some bits of cardboard and foam.

The American factory is running a special for Americans. KR has said that's their prerogative. I don't remember seeing this much butt-hurt from the Americas when a European or British company enacts a regional sale.

And if you want to argue that, please do acknowledge that, if they get to do this, I get to not spend a penny with them anymore just the same. You do *not* get to apply that, in itself true, statement to one party only.

You entirely get to make the personal choice to look at all the evidence you want to, all the facts to whatever level you so choose and come to a conclusion. If you wish to take offense at the American side of a company making an offer to the American consumer, then that's your choice. If you further go on to veto the company, still under the notion that this was done to slight the European market instead of promote in the American market, again, that's your choice.

Now, having made your informed or otherwise choice, you can move on with your life.

I call this cheap as although we in the uk do not have thanks giving almost all retailer here are running Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, KR are running one but not in their country of origin where such sales are common place.

A couple of years ago KR gave carrying bags for their cases away in the Salute Goodie bag, last year they gave away (IIRC) 200 Back packs via golden tickets at Salute - I don't remember US customers getting upset about those (even more) regional promotions. Sometimes there are deals in some markets and not in others. DO KR as a whole offer me a good deal? Do they treat me with respect? Do they kill kittens in making their stuff? Yes, yes and no, so for me I keep buying their stuff. Your answers may vary to those questions (well the first 2!) but I'd be hard pressed to make the argument that deals like this that are an insult - I'm fairly sure that Starbucks and McDonalds do offers in the US that I can't get in the UK, but it wouldn't stop me spending money with them (actually I don't spend money at either, so Subway and ummm Amazon would be better examples there).

That is true but they don't go on an international forum advertising such deals and saying you can get this but not you or you or you.

Rediculously arbitrary , I'm sure shipping had nothing to do with it being it was one of the American locations doing the giveaway. If you are upset, call their European hq and see if they will match the promo.....or continue to rant how you can't get free stuff without buying something first.

Wow, I was not previously tempted by KR, but this may do the trick!

Worth adding that because of the unique way KR design and manufacture trays 99% of orders, including all CUSTOM tray orders are dispatched within 2 working days, the coloured trays are taking 10-14 days currently, and we are looking at how to speed up that process too.

I would love to see KR extend their European deals beyond trade shows, as many of us don't have the possibility to visit them (Even though we dearly want to )

Agreed. By the time you pay for transport and entry (and possibly an overnight stay) you may as well have bought them online and had them posted to you if that is all you were going for - and I don't really have much interest in going to game shows for much else

Huh. I really need a sizable case for my Robotech miniatures (some day, in the far far future when Palladium/ND actually gets around to starting production, but I digress...) and I've heard good things about KR, as my only other case is a BF Malifaux bag.

Curse my vaguely international location.
