Very tempted for the street furniture and London set I'm guessing that would also entitle me to the stretch goal scenery as well.

I really like the street furniture and luggage.

Items like the add so much life to a piece of scenery. Will have to see if I can afford to jump in on the kickstarter or wait till general release.

Dose anyone know if these prices will be the same at retail?

I believe they said the KS prices are 33% off retail.

EDIT here's the quote

...The exact price for the scenery after the kickstarter is not yet set but you will be sure to save at least 1/3 getting it now... most of the savings are in the region of 30-45% depending on what you choose. ...

How much do you have to back to pick up all of the terrain stretch goals?

Yeah, typically in exchange for an interest free loan/pre-order up front months (years?!?) ahead of time, a Kickstarter will give you a good deal on pricing/quantities/extras/exclusives.

I've expect things to generally be quite a bit more at retail.

Otherwise, the smart money is on waiting until retail, especially given how late Kickstarters in general tend to be...

Can anyone explain why these zeds are so expensive?

New (ish) update - they've decided to release some of the stretch goal zombies even though the £30k target probably won't be reached:
£9 inc P&P for 'Pack of Bones' & £6 inc P&P for 'Mad Zombie Dogs' (P&P included for all pledge levels except 'Rigour Mortis')

This just leaves the 'Compound Bowman', the '??', the 'Segway of Death' & the 'Road Warrior' although as £25k has been reached the archer should now be 'unlocked'.

This costs £10 inc P&P.

I don't think I've ever seen such form fitting body bags.

I'd imagine it's to stop them from getting up/out.

Except, folks will use actual body bags on hand, and they just are not form fitting like that.

Very cool idea, just very poorly executed in my mind.

Something like this would have been better:

I expect a lot more people would moan about it if body bags didn't look like they have bodies in them.

I'm in for the fortifications pack and civilian walls. Along with the scenery stretch goals this gives me a lot of terrain for Mars Attacks for under £50.

Maybe you need to vacuum seal the bodies to prevent them coming back to life ?

they decided it was both quicker than burning

and safer after the umpteenth time a zombie body fire spread and took out the school/mall/hospital the survivors were holed up in

It's an exaggeration of a wrapped body, which would make it stand out on a mini table. No need to answer the question of what's that pile of stuff over there. However, a realistic version would be cool because you would be asked what they were and the reveal would be very creepy.

With only 8 hours left to go in this campaign 3DForge have released possibly their final live update.
Well today has surpassed all expectation as far as funding goes and we are all very pleased with the extra pledges we have picked up in these final hours. We are so pleased that we have decided to bring forward one of the larger figurines as a special thank you if we can reach the 35k goal. We hinted earlier in the campaign that it would be up to you what we actually produced so here are the choices. If this goal is unlocked then whichever model is chosen will be available as an add-on for £5.

The models will be produced from resin / white metal.

Please leave comments below and register a vote here https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CYZL3FD

The Kickstarter comments seem to be pretty divided between the 2 models, so it will be interesting to see which one wins. (I'm hoping for Rider from hell myself.)

Automatically Appended Next Post:
All done now - finished at £35,958 (nearly 600% of target).
Now just the wait for my stuff!

Anyone know what's happen this project my payment cleared through my credit card but I just logged in to see that I've been dropped as a backer due to failed payment and there is a backer only update that I can't read with the title project postponed.

Damn, it is not showing as something I backed either, and I sure as hell did, and they collected my money too.

They've sent out another update that's readable by everyone, its not exactly good news...
Due to unforeseen personal circumstances of a tragic nature I am going to have to postpone this project until later in the year when it can get my undivided attention. We have suffered a sudden and unexpected bereavement of a close family member and it has been a massive shock. It is with a very sorry heart I have to write this after such a great project but I feel it would be very unfair to all of you who have shown me great support to try and carry on with it at such a troubled time. At the moment my family must take priority over everything else.

I would hate to think anyone who pledged money with us in good faith lost out financially so I have been talking to the support team at kickstarter who have been a great help. Full refunds will start shortly.

This project WILL relaunch at a later date and I hope you will support us again. Once again thanks for being a great bunch of backers

I got hit for the pledge plus an exchange fee as a separate charge. I hope I get paid for both.

Who is handling the refund, KS or the project guy? I worry that the project guy won't find time to do so.

I didn't even get the 'update' - will have to check my Credit Card statement to see if he's taken payment or not.
Just went to the KS page & the project is no longer under 'projects you've backed' - what's that about?
Could access it earlier.
