For the first time in a long while we face each other. This past week my Tyranids have crushed Daemons and Tau, will my own wife break my winning streak?

^ Nice avatar, Battletech was my first and only tabletop before we got in to Warhammer this year. I cant say I followed it past 3070 or so, once the Ghost Bears are now part of the IS and Hells Horses are invasion territory I stopped.
It's definitely nice that we play together, if she hadnt wanted to there is no way I would have gotten in to 40k, I just wouldnt be able to justify it. But she's ruthless and far more competitive than me.
Just a quick note, you said the Mawlock was out of synapse, failed her test and had to charge. That's not true, Instinctive Behaviour : Feed only gives Rage now which is +1 A on the charge.

^ Yah that got pointed out to me. I guess I was taught wrong when I first started playing (rage used to be different I guess) and its never been an issue so the rule never got clarified for me. Just in time for a new dex!

No, you will just become used to the enemy and begin to adjust to them and beat them.
