If you're the owner of this website:
Contact your hosting provider letting them know your web server is not completing requests. An Error 522 means that the request was able to connect to your web server, but that the request didn't finish. The most likely cause is that something on your server is hogging resources. sound familiar.

Could be work on the new website, or GW accidentally fired all website managers to save costs

Don't you mean the old farts who've been running on the generator threadmills have finally died causing a power loss to GWs 286 IBM 3 computer server cluster to shut down.
Kinda funny when I think about it, most users on here probably don't even know what a 286 was. 25MHz of awesome computing power!

They've decided on a new strategy to make all they're stores profitable, from this morning you can only buy GW products from GW stores. No more online selling and they are no longer supplying independents.

Most probably a DDos attack. Or they are going back to the original mail-order, where you'd fax the order. Some people probably don;t even know what a fax is anymore. And yes, few know of 286, let alone Windows 3.1 on a 486
