I thought I was going mad for a minute then but it's just obviously just another one of those silly American things like DOUBLE Cheeseburgers, strange shaped footballs and driving on the wrong side of the road.

Not really, with 81,959 registered Dakka users and only 1,013,913 words in the English language we're bound to hit it soon.
But yeah, more info needed to be able to be sensible about this thread.

Like it ChaoticMind.

It would leave the more traditional "Shnozcumbers" available for a Fantasy version. Let the Franchise commence!

Damn it, I want this now. Give me dice-based French Taunting and Silly Walks and rules for fighting in a Cheese shop, and I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

Dont forget the Spanish inquisition and the dead parot special rule.

I still can't believe the OP hasn't come back to thanks for all this creative magic!

How about 'Space Dungeons and Space Dragons'? If there's any doubt to the spaceyness of it then add 'there's only War in the 25th Century you know...' As a tag line.

Why am I not being paid for these marketing gems?

*bursts though room with axe* HEEEAAARRRS JHONNY!!!

Heres a thought for an Idea..

Since there are so many games with ailens, why don't you make a game set in your time period in the milky way, but using just humans for factions?

Such as each country is a faction in space conquest, fighting for the good of their own and have not encountered any alien's in the milky way.

Try to give it a Modern Warfare aesthetic, with added futuristic gubbins like drones and gadgets with added robot units and Co.

Would love so Robot SAS commandos

Just an Idea obviously if it takes off, you could then add aliens into the mix..

For Ideas of names, you could call it, "Warfare 25K" or even just a simple mechanic in a vehicle like "Treads" or even have a duel name like "Tanks and Walkers" for example..

Just some Ideas..

Asking for a wargame name randomly on a forum is not a good idea.

Usually a game's name has a lot to do with what the game is about, or references something within the game.

You'll usually want to work with a codename until you have enough material that a name will call to you.

My game for example, Exoshift, may seem odd, but it is the name of the setting's primary (and most economical) method of FTL travel.

Other games like THON (AI character), Gates of Antares (location), Infinity (theme), Blackwater Gulch (location and theme), Malifaux (theme), etc, all reference something within the game, even if it might be a general theme.
