So it seems like a pretty cool upgrade, and it says it makes the unit calv Can I use the same model or does this change the base size? I can't seem to find an official model. I am only moderatly competative but I spend a good deal of time making my models look nice and be as wizzy wig as possible. If there is a model, could someone link me to it? If its not and I have to make one, what should the base size be, and what should the steed be, and do you have any examples of custom jobs others might have done?

The FW juggernaut is on a 40mm base, same size as a terminator base.

Oddly I can't find it on the site anymore but I know they used to have a kit with a Khorne terminator lord on a juggernaut for 40k, now it looks like they only have the fantasy one. I can't even find it on ebay or Google images, it's like it disappeared from the internet.

Here's one somebody converted for ideas at least:

Juggers are on fullsized 40mm bases. The character cannot stay on a normal base. A rather simple conversion is to buy the WFB lord on jugger model, and then attach the top half of a 40k lord to the rider's legs from the kit. Very simple conversion that. You can also get plastic juggers in the chaos daemons jugger cavalry boxed set as well, though you will then need to fully convert a 40k character to ride on top since the only legs in those kits are for bloodletters.

I thought juggernauts were on 60mm dred bases?

Juggernauts are indeed mounted on 60mm round bases. Check the Bloodcrushers (From DoC) as a reference. As for an official model, just about everyone I've ever met that runs the Jugger-lord runs the Fantasy Khorne Lord on Juggernaut pretty much stock and gets zero complaints. 100% compliments even because that model is such a great one anyway.

Looks like you're right about the Bloodcrusher, I was sure it was 40mm but that makes sense. This has me thinking about some short of sleek flesh hound as a sort of counts as juggernaut on a cavalry base, I wonder how many folks would take major issue with this?

My juggerlord is a bigass minotaur, who rolls with his minotaur spawn bodyguard.

Use the plastic warriors of chaos set, legs look good, so you just need a torso head, arms and pack. The axe is also good for the almost mandatory axe of blind fury....

They are WFB vampire crypt horrors/varhgeists for the bodies, and beastman minotaur heads. Ogre hands for the weapons, and some assorted daemon armor on the lord.

Nice conversions there. Always cool to see unique uses of different models to come up with something like this.

OK

Those minotaurs look awesome!

I have the old school Juggerlord model (luckily he has an axe!) that I use. I have him on a 60mm base which seems to work perfectly.

I've settled on this model, as I have a friend who wants the other two. I am going to model it more or less stock but try and work a pistol into if I can, I will be dropping the shield and giving him an axe either way.

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440111a&prodId=prod1710142a

This should work right?

Also we are on a consensus that its a 60mm round base for the chaos juggernaut of khorn 40k model right?

Any of those 40k'd up would work just fine. Put a chaos marine backpack on him and give him something shooty and it will look great. The base will be the same base that comes in this boxed set the 60mm. Those of us who said 40mm early in the thread were confused.

Yeah it should be on a 60mm base as that is what juggernauts use.

We had a person at my FLGS run two juggerlords (one with AoBF, the other with the black mace), and the way he handled it was by buying a set of this:

He then traded off the extra juggernaut and the demons away and got either some CSM biker legs or maybe just chopped up regular CSM legs and mounted the rest of the chaos lord on top of them. Add to round base, and done.

A pretty easy conversion, and a lot cheaper than buying the juggernaughts individually.

Seems like an awfully difficult way to get legs.. can just buy thunderwolf cav legs.
