Having just recently took every single miniature I own out and painstakingly listed them all I realised I have 386 miniatures and 5 vehicles and warmachines. I only collect amd play GW games. Spanning 6 different factions: 40K imperial guard, 40k Space Marines, lotr Numenor, Lothlorien, Rivendell, Isengard, Rohan and Moria Goblins. Anyways just wanted to know how much everyone else collects and how much models you guys have?

Lightweight. I have close to 1000 models just from Mantic. Lets not even worry about GW, PP, FFG and Wizkids.

I've got a few hundred 40k/WHFB dudes kicking around in various states of undercoat/basecoat.. Then there's all the Deadzone stuff that is still boxed/bagged up. Three Blood Bowl Teams (I used to have them ALL).

To be honest though, I've probably lost/thrown away more than I could ever count!

I have a few thousand un-painted and my sig shows how many points of painted I have for 40k. For Fantasy I have Ogres, Bretonians, Lizardmen, Tomb Kings, Warriors of Chaos, and Vampire Counts painted, For PP I have Every Menoth Release up to the release of epic casters plus a Gaurdian, The complete set of pirates and most of the Dwarves for Mercs, A Khador Colossal. I have Every fleet for BFG painted with two different Imperial Fleets. I have a Uncharted seas Dragon and Elf fleet, I have a British navel and air force for Dystopian wars that includes all released minis. I have 30 various Heavy Gear models for my Badlands force. I have a painted Riders of Rohan force as well as a Mordor force mostly consisting of Orcs. I also have a large collection of Dragons and other various mythical creatures because I like to paint them.

Never enough.

I'd imagine I am somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,000.

I have multiple 40k and Warmachine armies that are fully painted, along with probably a literal ton of lead and pewter Battletech figures that I have collected for almost 20 years. So, all in all, I guess my answer is: Too many.

Probably about five hundred infantry, mix of guard, marines and orks and genestealers, and about twenty vehicles including two super heavies. I just upgraded to a new glass cabinet though, so room for more!

I have never counted, but I would hazard a guess that the total count is north of 1000. I've got, maybe...240 Imperial Guard infantry alone. Not that I do anything with them anymore. That doesn't include the extensive motor pool. Plenty of Chimeras and Russes.

Then there's hundreds of Red Box Games miniatures alone. Perry plastic box sets are typically 40+ infantry each, and there's...4 of those. Hundreds of Mantic Undead models, more than 100 wild west models...

I think I've got 40+ Black Scorpion Tombstone models, and basically the entire catalog of Knuckleduster 28mm old west miniatures. That's more than 120 different models (not counting horses as individual models) plus the 40 Tombstone models, and then assorted other wild west models means there are probably 200+ that category (don't tell my wife).

So, say roughly 250 IG, 200 wild west, 200 Mantic Undead, 160 Perry plastics give or take, maybe 250 Red Box Games (conservatively). Those are the largest chunks. There's various models from other systems in comparatively small batches. Freebooter's Fate, Heavy Gear Blitz, a couple of Malifaux gangs, Oh, and I forgot Quar. I have more than a few Quar, maybe 40+. And some things I don't recall at the moment.

Probably at least a thousand, scales from tiny micro-armour and 5mm tanks up to some larger display pieces. Did have a lot more at one point but a couple of armies and un-started projects went onto ebay..

My collection is fairly weak, I wouldn't put the overall numbers above 400, and that's with 2000pts of Tyranids and nearly 4000pts of Vampire Counts. I like to stick to a single army and list for it which isn't great for impulse buying GW stuff.

Well seeing some of the collections in this thread is making me feel better about how much I have. I was just going through a crisis thinking I have too much and I'll never finish it all. Thanks for making me feel better. To the plastic crack store!

I've probably got in the region of about ~400 28mm and ~300 15mm (with another 370 coming in a couple of months from a KS), with a few remnants of 6mm. And 2 54mm's

But that's after a couple of years of pretty serious culling of stuff I'm never going to use, so I probably peaked at about 1500 minis.

In saying that, I've probably only finished painting maybe 100 of them

I did this a few months ago! 263 infantry models, 16 jetbikes, 6 light vehicles, 18 tanks and 2 super heavy tanks. A mix of eldar and Imperial guard. I have about 60 infinity models as well.
