I think of all the Marvel teams, I would've the most fun painting and fielding the X-Men. Nightcrawler, Beast, Colossus. I don't even care which version, as long as they're not all wearing black leather.

It is my hope that Knight Models have a real focus in mind if they do a Marvel Game*, at least for the initial couple waves of releases. Sadly given that the first models that they have shown here are from not only from two different teams they are from two different mediums**, I really doubt that is the case. This really puts me off to the actually picking this game up, at least at first***.

On to wish listing I really hope that they make the choice to start with a street level type of game focus going with the same relative power level as its DC cousin (with characters/groups like Spider Man, DareDevil, and the NYPD/FBI on one side and Electro, Kingpin, and the "Mob" on the other, with people like Frank Castle operating as free agents in between****) and then have them start branching out from there to cover the wider universe and the higher tiers of characters.


Notes:
*Like how they stated their DC/Batman game with an Arkham City focus.
**A Wolverine Sculpt taken from the comics versus an Iron Man Sculpt drawn from his cinematic iteration.
***Since it looks like they are willing to spend a year or so developing their Marvel/Superhero Miniatures Game, it dose really help to boost my confidence in the model lines lack of initial focus.
****Or Captain America operating along side Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos versus The Red Skull leading HYDRA. (Come to think of it a World War 2 Marvel skirmish game would be amazing!)
****Or The X-Men versus The Brotherhood of Mutants versus The Hellfire Club.
****Or Victor Von Doom versus the Fantastic Four.

So basically you don't want a Marvel Universe game; you want a Fantastic Four Game, a Hell's Kitchen game, a WWII game, and an X-Men game

No, more along the lines of a Marvel Universe game that starts as a Hell's Kitchen game (or an FF game, or a WW2 game) and over the course of time, with several waves of releases behind it, become a full Marvel universe game.

Much like how their Arkham City game has overtime morphed to become a wider Batman Game, and is currently on its way to becoming a DC Universe game; that from the looks of things will its self in time evolve to become a Superheroes Miniatures game with both Marvel and DC models.

While I do get your point, I also get why they start out like this. You're not attracting a lot of customers with "Kingpin's goons vs. the NYPD". Wolverine and Iron Man on the other hand are popular as heck and therefore better to draw in more people. Also, I think the Batman (or Arkham) universe is a much better fit for a gang fight system. Bat-villians seem to have a lot more disposable goons than the usual Marvel villian.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a massive hit - it does make sense that they go for that.............

Thanos I think may be a step to far (at least in the beginning), but I really want to see The Punisher, and the Ultimate Green Goblin.

Well since its clear there doing X men by the Wolverine mini it's only right they bring in the Juggernaut to pound them them all to dust! The comics one not the movie one of course! That would be one hunk of metal that puts the Bane piece to shame.

Hands down one of the coolest series done. Sabertooth and Wild child, one handed Wolvie, a Sunfire that doesn't suck, Rad Zones,OMG the Sentinels. This alone could be a full game... Wish listing like a Mo'Fo'

If either Gambit or the Punisher are made then I am in. If both are made, well, gak, the little kid in me will likely explode from excitement.
