Subject: Bill Nye vs Ken Ham debate - poll edition!

Edit: if you did not watch the debate (which you still can in the link I provide below) please DO NOT respond with any response but the very first or very last selection.
I'm legitimately curious about this. Please don't discuss the debate, who 'won,' or argue the principal issue in this thread. We already have a thread for that, which you can find here.
If you haven't seen the debate, Ken Ham and Bill Nye debate evolution vs creationism. You can find the entire debate linked below.
So here's the question: did you have an opinion on this issue prior to the debate? And did this debate change your mind?
I'd seriously like to know what (if any) impact this debate had on the topic at hand. It seems like the tack the primary thread has taken is to simply continue the debate (which is fine), but I would like to know if anything actually came from the debate itself.

I've no need to watch it. I know exactly what the arguments will be, exactly how they'll be presented, and exactly what the views of the speakers will be.

I think the debate was summed up nicely by the two people.
Nye: Go home and find out for yourself.
Ham, let me tell you what this means.

Pretty much this, the debate is about six years late. These days the internet is in a fuss about feminism and social justice.

Didn't watch, just like I don't feel compelled to watch "debates" between sensible people and screaming idiots ranting about mind control in the chemtrails. Ken Ham's young-earth creationism is obvious lunacy that makes the tinfoil hat crowd look reasonable, so watching the "debate" would just be preaching to the choir. I hope Bill Nye managed to plant some seeds of doubt in the audience, but TBH I'm not really convinced that it's a good thing to dignify dishonest s like Ken Ham by pretending that their nonsense is worthy of a debate.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

I'd be interested to hear from the person who changed their mind.

I didn't vote, but I did change my mind.
It changed about 5 minutes in when I chose I couldn't be arsed to watch it after all. Seriously, give people medals for sitting through that.
