As always our batreps tend to be quite lengthy, we really want to give viewers a lot of context, we also do about 10 minutes of post game analysis and discussion.

Great report. Doesn't the riptide need to have drones with it in order for the commander to join it?

Nope. Just the capability of being a unit of more than one model.

I take it the raven guard player was using Ultramarine allies to get Tigurius in there?

Nice looking armies btw!

Great battlefield, looks really fun to battle over.

My Tau colour scheme is incredibly close to the one used here! Great minds, you know...

Looks the UM should have DS in instead of walking into the fire wall. thx 4 the report.

Nah, I was playing "counts as ultramarines" so I could leverage the most rerolls for my centurions. I'll prolly only start using the RG tactics again when they update Korvidae's rules and then only if he still makes assault squads troops.

Yea honestly if I had kept a terminator squad or two in reserve it would have put a lot more pressure on him.

Any Codex Astartes compliant chapter has a solid argument to use the UM traits IMO.

I must say, the tau army has some wierd-ass things in it.

A plasma gun of a buffmander?
HBC riptide without the ECPA? (requires FE, but the only way to run a proper HBC riptide)
A lone devilfish team? and a repair system for a devilfish!?
Railsides? (I abandond mine long ago, a shame because the got converted into a "gunner" style even before the new models were first seen) a paying for plasmas when they hang back?

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

When the guy who hosts the games and supplies all the terrain says "only fully painted" you get some good motivation to have a good standard

Excellent bat rep I dont usually watch video reports but glad I did this time. It was really well done and easy to follow with nicely painted armies and a great table.
