I totally stumbled across this one by accident. I don't think this KS has gotten much attention due to being in the Design section of the site.
Technically, this is a Kickstarter for developing a line of toys, but I'm willing to bet there could be some wargame uses for these mechs.
There are two robots being proposed for this Kickstarter: The Orthrus
And the Paladin
He's got some rough 3D prints of them for testing. As you can see, they'd probably be about right for us in 15mm or 6mm games.
I'm always down for funky toy robots, so I think I'll probably wind up backing this.

I'm in. Hope it funds.
I love how the Paladin looks like Striker Eureka and a Gundam had a love child.

Thanks for the positive feedback on my project
Yeah, originally I was planning to have it as a tabletop game. The idea with the interchangeable parts was that each weapon had a special stat to boost your units so you can customize your forces for different situations (besides being cool). In fact, the actual amount of weapon slot addons on each unit was actually a balance feature.
Also on the bottom of each unit there is a slot for a detachable base for hitbox radius. (The Orthrus and Paladin are a bit big because they were intended as the bigger units for the game).
Unfortunately, injection plastic molding is really expensive, so I couldn't get as many units as I wanted to make the game interesting (a wargame with 2 units is rather bland heh). While the other traditional materials for tabletop games work, they aren't suitable for swapping pieces constantly (usually you have to glue them in and they don't have articulation).
So right now I'm doing it as a collectible toy, but the design is set for the game once more units come out.

Those tanks are the sex. And the fighters are the lingering foreplay.

I like pretty much everything but the Paladin
The paladin looks pretty awful. Like awkward and gangly. Like a mech that's just starting puberty and noticing girl mechs for the first time.

Ah don't like the Paladin design?
It was a bit tricky to get designs that people liked, originally I was aiming more industrial less humanoid style mechs but people ripped at me that the designs were too much like Battletech, so I tried to have a new style. Because there are two main factions, I was aiming for one side to use more "modern" style vehicles and more western mech designs such as tanks, heavy bulky mechs etc. The other faction, I decided to go more eastern so more mechas, and style of units that are more smooth designs.
It's been a bit tough getting the project out there for people to see because it was in the design section on Kickstarter, if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.

I do like the Paladin, but I see where he is coming from. Personally, I think the upper torso needs to be larger and thicker so the bulky limbs don't overpower the mini's look. Also, the hips and codpiece look too wide for a humanoid mech as opposed to a chicken-walker. Actually, all the joints look thin and weak for a several-ton mech--which makes it look more like a toy. If you can thicken the waist and torso, the area above the knees, the joint in each hip, etc., that would go a long way towards making the model look more serious. The proportions as they are now are a little too inhuman for a humanoid mech.
Also, a larger torso might help the wing/shoulder attachments look better. Automatically Appended Next Post: I honestly prefer the nonhumanoid stuff you've done. Also, is one of the mechs on the left based on an Invid aesthetic?

Ah a more bulky like mech (maybe extra metal plating addons in the future? (Its elbow and knees have slots so you can put pegs in at the moment)
As for the mech your referring to is it the Spectre?
Wasn't aware of your reference, but this unit I designed mainly originally as a contrast to the Systems Ordinance League faction units (they are the green more industrial/western unit designs). Because those units are boxy, I wanted the units in the other rival Aegis faction to have a more curvy smooth and designed more like creatures. The closest for design inspiration for that I would say would be more towards Protoss and FFXIII the government PSICOM vehicle designs.

How big is that Paladin (in inches)? I think it looks awesome and seriously tempts me to back this in some way (the "pirate" paladin is a rather nice color scheme).

Yeah, the Spectre looks like a great anime mecha design. I really hope your project funds.
The size of each model is pretty important. If they happen to be the same height as a Dreadknight or a Knight, I can imagine a lot of interest blooming. The walkers look like they would go well with 15mm sci fi games or Infiniti or something. I would really like to see more images of your minis next to other companies' minis for scale comparison.

The Paladin is 4x4x4 inches roughly (excluding gun barrel sticking out). The units are relatively small because it was originally designed for a tabletop game, though the two on the Kickstarter are more the big units.
Here is a comparison with my hand and a quarter...

4 inches is a bit rough. A riptide is around 5 1/2 inches, so this a bit too small for that (which would be my main reason right now).
I will also sentiment that the spectre is also a nice design. Feels very anime alien mecha-like.

Is the Paladin going to have knee and elbow joints? The latest update on the KS makes it look like it will.

Yes for the Paladin the elbows, knees and wings can bend.
