Shark Mounted Lasers,

awesome! Just saw the site update.

Two questions:
1. can you extend your Facebook offer through tomorrow? I will have extra dollars tomorrow due to big ol' paycheck.

2. Will you have a 6x4 option? (24 tile road kit)

1. Yeah, it's extended through tomorrow!
2. No- for maximum versatility and options, it's optimal to have the 16, and then you can choose which 8 kit to add.

OK, that sewer system stuff is too awesome!

If I buy the roads now, will they seamlessly integrate with the upcoming sewer system later on?

Fantastic! Now to do my budget and see how many I can afford to squeeze in. Thanks much!!

I just saw the sizes - so they are available in either 30cm square or 12" square, but future accessories will ONLY be compatible with the 30cm version?

Id like to see some outdoor urban street tiles with the 'infinity hex' pattern next to the streets.

A 10% off coupon.

@Shark,

Amazing stuff - especially the canals and raised streets/platforms. Still have plans for the Bridge you posted on your facebook account?

As for the roads, do they have any type of connecting piece to each other (assuming there is no canal underneath) - or do they just sit flush?

That's the top view of the elevated road system.

No, they set flush. I played with connectors and they didn't really prove beneficial.

How thick are the tiles - basically, are the tiles thick enough that you could drill some magnets into the edges to help keep the tiles together during play?

Yes, I hope there is a system keeping them together, because they'll be knocked apart reaching into the interior pretty often otherwise.

So, the designs for the sewers and such were designed with 30cm in mind. That being said, the accessories will all be 30cm square. It'd take me too long to modify the existing designs to inches, even though it's a minor scale increase.
Long story short- the 30cm ones are guaranteed to work , the 12" ones will most likely work fine.

I'm working on some end-tabs that set against the cm tables to make them a full 4'/6' with handy information on them as well such as deployment zones!

judgedoug wrote:How thick are the tiles - basically, are the tiles thick enough that you could drill some magnets into the edges to help keep the tiles together during play?

The tiles are 1/4" thick on the sidewalk portions, 1/8" on the streets. So yes, there should be enough room to attach magnets! (Great Idea btw!)

If you're playing on a slip and slide it becomes an issue, but generally speaking I haven't had any issues. We've run multiple tournaments on them with no sliding problems.

You'd just need a few triangular edge pieces (each made by cutting one of the existing pieces in half) for the perfect diagonal road 4x4 table.

...not sure why I care, since I am not allowed to buy them due to being an evil foreigner.

Is it MDF or HDF? HDF is awesome stuff, especially when you need a very thin material to still be strong.

Is there a time-frame on the subterranean/sewer sections?

To chime in with the sewers, I hope you are also going to offer pieces to make them uncovered "canals", instead of having the roads over them. Looking at it, it seems that the road tile is the roof to the walls, I'd like there to be alternate pieces to make the roofs, so that you could have an open canals table.

Any chance you'd be willing to sell pre-painted? I see that huge pile of buildings on your facebook page.

It's MDF! We use 100% recycled, formaldehyde free product. HDF is fine, but it's more difficult to source with sustainability in mind. Additionally, the HDF we have been able to source wielded subpar results. In terms of strength, We haven't found too much difference. If anything the HDF is a wee bit more brittle.

I really really hope to have those out by the end of the week! Or atleast some of them.

Oh yeah, they're actually separate tiles

Unfortunately with me still finishing up my degrees, I don't have time to paint on top of production. That huge pile was 1/10th of the Infinity terrain made for "Feast of Blades." Talk about a time investment... 30 tables of Infinity is barbaric haha.

Haha, we need that terrain for this year too!! We're expecting to host the largest Infinity tournament outside of Spain. Last year we flew in the creator of the game! This year will easily rival it

Very, very nice.

Given that there are Cities of Death strategems appearing in some of the recent Codex Supplements, I suspect some future demand for urban landscape terrain.

I have to agree with this, and it's not just Cities of Death that it can be used with either. A friend and I figured out that Killteams are a lot more fun when played in a city-style environment.

Aye, Cities of Death aren't that city'y without streets lol!

Still no timelines, because they'd most likely be continuously pushed back school has been keeping me far too busy! Not only that but I'm moving to a new building (Yay expansion!)

Salacious, I believe my reply system has been glitching out since the tide that came in. Your order is on the way with modifications you requested! They should be there on Wednesday!

Today in 1970, United States postal workers began a two-week strike after Congress raised its own wages by 41% but only raised the wages of postal workers by 4%. In remembrance of such INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS NOW AVAILABLE!!!! It ain't cheap, but it'll get SML terrain to your door. Shipped via USPS Priority International.
