Artwork looks amazing, but then again it is FFG.

Would be more interested if it was a board game, not a big fan of cardgames

Looks like there are cards for Ultramarines, Tau and Orks, and Ultramarines and Dark Eldar are on the box.

If it's being sold as a two player game, I would have thought they'd focus on just two factions, possibly with other faction decks later.

I'm glad they're not focusing on just 2 factions, otherwise we would have 80+ pages of people whining and making snide/"witty" remarks about a card game that's made up of 50% Ultramarines.

That looks so damn good. I hope each race has some special abilities to keep it asymetric like their Netrunner LCG; Runners and Companies had some key differences between them.

+1 for excitement about this. Definitely doesn't look fake to me. Art's lovely and I like the typeface on the Conquest name too, bit of a refreshing break from the norm.

Well it could still be Marines vs Aliens. Like one player playing the "good" guys and the other the "bad" guys.

Warhammer Invasion is a really good game so I'm really looking forward to this. I dropped out of the CCG scene a while ago, I much prefer the LCG format.

Artwork is a bit odd though. The UM Captains shooting arm looks way to short, his torso a bit fat.

Or is that just me?

For a game turning mostly on artwork, they'd need to up that a notch or two.

Love Warhammer: Invasion, and my buddies and I have been discussing the release of this game, wondering how long it would take FFG. Glad to see it's finally happening. I expect it'll be a living card game (Duh), that utilizes a lot of similar rules to W: Invasion, while still adding a few new things. I expect big things out of this, and plan to dump a lot of money into it.

/tg/ usually has some fairly insightful commentary. Except about LCG strategy. One should always take their LCG commentary with a truckload of salt and a bottle of Advil.

It's just the perspective- Foreshortening and all that. He does look a bit barrel-chested though.
