Space Marines (ultramarines) are right at the top gives you all the straight from the pot colours you need. Pretty straight forward: Maccrage blue, Nightshad wash, layer up again in guard blue-calgar blue, highlights in Etherium blue and then a solid gulliman blue glaze. You can make it more or less layers depending on how nice you want them to look.

Honestly, it is all you need really. You are asking for a from the pot guide, GW do them.
A quick google search gives you a decent UM guide:

Go black, test your skills. Black Templar (black and grey) or Iron Hands (black and silver). If you can pull it off, you immedately qualify for pro status.

What about some iron hands? Just some grey edging and you are almost done. Add silver to the hands, a splash of wash and they are finished...i don't know how good the new gw paints cover the black, but you'll have to layer several layers to get a nice and smooth finish. In my opinion, yellow is one of the most difficult colours to paint. Check out the tuts on awesomepaintjob.com or buypainted on youtube. They are pretty cool and have some good tips.
